During 1987, J. Lindsey and Rick Williams Roofing established a collaboration. Lindsey's roofing endeavors included both residential and commercial roofing serving north Mississippi. By May 2013, the RWC family divested and Lindsey Roofing Company took over the roofing operations. Currently, it is family-owned that includes Lindsey's child taking over the entire sheet metal production and metal roofing, copper installations, and gutter services. Lindsey Roofing LLC remains dedicated to serving its customers with the same skilled roofing team and customer values at the original site at 71 Airline Road, Columbus Mississippi.

Began roofing during high school with Hollis Roofing Company. Transitioned to Commercial Project Manager for roofing projects at WalMart throughout the southern United States. In 1987, a joint venture began with Rick Williams Roofing Company. J Lindsey was the roofing contractor, cost estimator, and manager of projects for every roofing project. In 2013, Lindsey Roofing LLC purchased the roofing part of RWC. It is now a family owned business that has Lindsey's son leading the sheet metal work and metal roofing, copper installations, and gutter services.
