Gale Force Roofing made a daunting task and investment a breeze! Our roof looks amazing and the safety and security it provides is priceless. Highly recommend!!

Gale Force Roofing & Restoration is another sleazy, shady roofing contractor, which seem to sprout up all over Florida
They have only been in business only 5 years
Hundreds of fake 5 star reviews on Yelp, Facebook, BBB and Google and therefore receive an A+ rating by the BBB
MORE ON THAT
I can't believe l actually entertained and signed paperwork from a door to door solicitation. I needed a roof inspection so sure give me one but then the guy was so sweet and honest l felt at ease. (My bad)
I was told all about how my homeowners would basically cover the cost of my roof replacement due to hurricane Ivan, it would not affect my insurance premium, interior water damage and gables would be repaired... life was beautiful
I was NOT told about the hidden legal terminology, in my contract
l had signed an AOB contract (assignment of benefits) giving Gale force the right to sue my homeowners insurance, at will, which they said later, would
not have my name on the suit, thereby ld experience no consequences at all. The AOB, completely turns over my homeowner policy to them
FAKE, FAKE, FAKE, FAKE, As Elaine said
One, your premium DOES go up for making a claim (12%) for the claim plus the normal increases annually.
2 If GaleForce dies sue for money they feel they deserve on your roofing job from your insurance, . It goes on MY permanent insurance history and can make finding an insurer impossible.
In my case l have only one company,Citizens, who will insure my 100 year old house and a reverse mortgage which requires insurance.
I'd be wiped out if they sued for extra money.
This was explained by Citizens as my GaleForce claim was red flagged as an AOB contract because it is so rare that Citizens receives them, due to their abusive litigation by roofers
About those reviews.... upon close inspection
1 In Florida where people can't spell their shopping lists correctly, there was NOT ONE GRAMMATICAL OR SPELLING ERROR in one review of hundreds of only 5 star reviews
The Yelp reviewers had only written one review in their lifetime, the 5 star Gale Force review Likely not real people
On Facebook many recommendations were from people without profiles or lived out of state, not serviced by Gale Force. Very similar review. Each person's experience pure perfection. Also the recommendations actually were complaints about exhaustive door to door solicitation but you can't write a negative review. Anything you write becomes a recommendation!
Same with the BBB. Statistically, people only write the BBB with complaints, but there they were over 100 of 103 reviews, ALL 5 star, perfectly written reviews. Some batting average! Superstars and apparently ""everything goes sooo smoothly with Josh K."" A favorite review line!
But when l spoke to a member of GaleForce's management team, Justin Gilbert, that's when l was treated aggressively and hostilely. And l wasn't even a client yet!!!! Justin could fake a 5 star review by phone.
I got out of the AOB contract, thank god
But now l have to see if their claim is part of my new permanent record, recorded for the rest of your lifetime on a insurance system called CLUE used by all homeowners insurance companies
All this and not one shingle ordered yet
It's frightening how sinister these companies can be
Be careful
No door to door
Read reviews carefully

There are countless roofing companies out there, I strongly urge you not to use this one. Read their contract very carefully. The contract states that they receive ""all the insurance money for the repairs to the home"", which includes $ for interior repairs etc. Our roof was installed over 2 months ago and after many emails, texts, and phone calls to August Weber, they still haven't returned over $2K we overpaid them, nor have they provided a final bill for my insurance company. The guys who installed our roof did a good job, but working with our representative and anyone in their Brandon office has been a nightmare. Their corporate office in Ohio isn't aware of everything going on with the employees in their Brandon office.

Gale Force worked with our insurance company to get our project of a new roof underway as soon as possible. Hurricane Ian had done so much damage to our roof that water had leaked into the ceilings and walls in several rooms causing a lot of damage. So getting the new roof soon was a necessary.
Gale Force's workers clean up after the job and the roof looks great. We are very happy with the overall process.

From inspection to new roof in 6 weeks. The inspection was free and low pressure. Gale Force assisted with the insurance company and the process was painless. The supplies were delivered the day before. The crew arrived and started prepping at 6:30 Am the next morning. Roof was mostly done on day 1 but was finished day 2 and finalized on day 3. My roof is approximately 3500 square feet with a steep slope. The crew laid down tarps around the entire house perimeter and when complete only found 1 nail in the grass. The crew clean continually, it was never a mess.
Would certainly use them in the future and highly recommend.

I requested this company to come out to give me an estimate on a new roof in June. After the inspection we were told the roof was in good condition and looks like we will get 5 to 10 more years out of our roof even in sever weather. Well last week I noticed a few spots on my ceiling and called them to come and take a look since they were the ones to come out this last time. I was told at the end of the next day that it was a wet day so he would have to come the following day. He couldn't ""remember"" the letter which he emailed and I have the letter saved about the roof being in good condition and said ""oh you need a new roof then, it will be a insurance claim, I said no you already inspected the roof on June and it was in very good condition so I thought since it was in a very small area at the end of the roof maybe a fre tiles had lifted, then he said he was driving and didn't have time to look for the letter I said he gave me he would look the next Dat (Friday) and call me. Well I never received a call, nothing! Will never use this company and the community I live in there are many homes looking to new roofs so I definitely telling them about my issues with Gale Force Roofing.

I was referred by a neighbor to Gale Force Roofing. I had a leak in my roof from storm damage. I contacted them and they came out did there assessment on my roof was told that they would do all the work with my insurance company after the first call. Was also told they would work thru with my insurance every step of the way. This did not happen I was contacted by my insurance company they asked me all the questions I had to do all the work. I never got a call from Gale Force at all, my claim was denied by my insurance company. Several weeks after my claim had been closed a man shows up at my door saying if was contracted by Gale Force to inspect my roof take pictures and right a letter so my insurance company could not deny my claim. I told him my claim had already been denied. He basically told me to let him do his job it would take a few minutes and he would be gone. Which I did and that was that never heard another work. After that still no work from Gale Force. I wouldn't recommend this roofing company. If this is how they treat there customers.

My husband and I decided to contact Gale Force Roofing as we were given their information through a fellow co-worker. I will admit that Gale Force was very attentive and timely when it comes to meeting with you for the initial inspection and getting you to sign a contract. However, after getting your signed contract it pretty much goes downhill from there. We started our process in May and were told that our roof would be started at the end of August. Here we are at the end of August and have yet to receive a start date and have yet to be contacted by Gale Force. We decided to reach out to see where the process was and what was going on. We were then told that they were still waiting on our permits to be pulled- yet we were told that that was taking place in July. So, I am assuming that we were lied to in July to try to appease us and our concern. We were also told that as soon as they received our check from the insurance company that our supplies would be ordered. Gale Force has had our insurance check in their possession for a month now and just told us that our supplies were just ordered and have not come in yet. We are trying to sale our home and this is lingering on, creating a loss for us financially. We are now being told that they can ""move"" us ahead of others since we are selling our home and they will try to get us on the schedule mid- September. And I will add that when we were told that ""they can move us ahead of others"" that the representative of Gale Force made us try to feel bad as if we were the ones in the wrong for being moved ahead, although we were just banking on the timeframe originally and only communicated to us from them. If they are having to move us in front of others, then why were we initially told that our house would be started in August? I feel there is a major lack of communication with Gale Force and they are just trying to get you to sign a contract and then there is no sense of urgency or commitment to stay on schedule on their part.

Our roof had to be replaced for insurance purposes and needed a new roof quick. Gale force roofing got us a quote fast and scheduled the job within a week. The sales team was very helpful and informative. The dates of install the team came on site and completed the job in one day, the roof looks great and passed inspection with no issues. The only complaint was that the install team left roof shingles and nails in addition to some damage to our screening. We told the sales rep we were working and they did their best to fix the issues. They came back to sweep for nails and sent a team to fix the damaged screening. Overall still happy with the service they have us and would recommend them.

Thanks so much to Washington and crew for a great job on our new roof! Thanks Josh for making sure everything was handled quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend your company to anyone that needs their roof replaced!
