As a new homeowner, trying to understand where to start for small projects like building a custom breakfast nook we're doing some basic house woodworking type activities was confusing to me. I went to Home Depot to see if they had a list of contractors or handyman who could fulfill some of these types of requests. I found LG builders through Angie's list and could not have had a better experience with them! Their price is fair, customer service is personal, their designs are easily understood and easy to read, and their work is exceptional. They use high-quality materials, and in a very timely manner built our custom breakfast nook with custom drawers and it looks beautiful and feels sturdy. they did a great job of understanding our space and making design recommendations to help guide our vision. I would recommend these to New and your home owners and I'm excited to work with them on whatever our next project ends up being!

Requested emergency roofing (tourch das layers on top of existing sections that were problematic. Understanding no warranty. However, first rain I had more leaks from my flat roof after repair than I had before I hired them. .

Consultation: I provided my plans prior to consultation and provided a budget and stated I only wanted a sit down if the could meet my budget. Leo said he could meet the budget and we scheduled an appointment for a meet up. He came to agree on a number and he said he would give me an official proposal once the stamped plans came in. Once the stamped plans came in (which were slightly different) I asked for a proposal. He then came back and said I need printed blue prints for the plans to give an official price. I was confused since he had a PDF form and I've never had this sort of request for a simple price proposal. All contractors I've ever worked with came in hand with their own printed blueprints. But anyways I entertained him and spent 70$ to give him the papers to give me an official quote to which I had to beg for. He finally called back and said the plans have changed drastically and the beans were different sizes now (which I verified with my structural engineer they hadn't changed) and he said he was still working on a number and would get back to me. Weeks passed and I heard nothing. Followed up... nothing. I ended up going with another company and asked for my printed plans back to which I have not yet received. My guess is that he no longer could honor the estimate he originally quoted which is fine but that should have been communicated. That's only professional to get back to people who you say you offer a free consultation

Quality: can't speak to this cause I didn't use them

Price: can't speak to this cause he never gave me an official number

Customer service: he was nice and responsive up until a point and then just ghosted.

Save your stories for someone else. Your not dealing with an unsophisticated person. I'm going to expose unscrupulous businesses such as yours for what they are- total rip off's.

By the way- you are are a general contractor holding a B license. You do not hold a drywall specialty license. You should not even be giving an estimate for only 1 trade. If you read Section 7057(a) of the Building and Professions Code you would know that. With your license you cannot take a prime contract or subcontract for only drywall alone.

So why are you giving an estimate for a job you have no legal right to take? People, you need to speak up about your experiences with business so they stop this nonsense.

I wasnt able to do a project with them but they came over to give a quote. Jonathan was very professional and came up with an idea that no one else thought about for a price within my budget. Unfortunately.. i live in an HOA community and they wont allow it. Although i did not use them. I do recommend them just for this and i will personally keep them in mind for future projects.
