After three years of living in our new home I noticed one of our solar panels was cracked and discolored. When I contacted Leonard Roofing they said it would be investigated and the findings reported . Turned out the solar panel was over torqued and caused the cracks overtime. The company took responsibility and honored their warranty. You just have to be patient. I would do business with them again.

These guys were contracted by DR Horton to install new roofs on new homes in the Santa Clarita area. I am the original owner so I can tell you nobody has been on my roof since the day I closed escrow. These new roofs lasted less than 12 yrs before developing multiple failures and leaks. Once we pulled back the concrete tiles it looked like a patch work of left over pieces overlapping each other in areas where there should be straight runs right off a new roll. It is NOT what a new roof should look like. Some of the overlap was three pieces thick with No roofing nails holding any of it down. Underlayment was ultra-thin cheap stuff that quickly failed and deteriorated. Flashings were poorly installed or missing. Roof nails were the cheap plastic cap versions where the cap quickly deteriorated and falls off. Once that happens, the roof begins to curl along the edges and water has a new path into your living room. Nobody even considered a quality grade metal cap that would hold down the roof for the entire life of the roof. Torch-down wasn't even considered. It seemed as though the installer had no understanding of how to install a roof or what flashings were used for and why you need them. The roof is completely shot. DR Horton also needs to shoulder the blame here since they contracted the lowest bidder and then did not keep an eye on their work and hold them accountable. There is a reason WHY they are the lowest bidder. Somebody at DR Horton needs to also be fired for incompetence. What a mess

I have been working with this contractor for 15+ years and they are the best in the business. Honesty and Integrity go a long way in the construction business and is getting harder to find. It is no surprise they have been around for 20+ years and still going strong. I would highly recommend anyone to use them just as I have.

I have had an issue with my solar system not working. A work order was pending for 2 months from sun power and Leonard roofing never responded.

I witnessed a careless driver on the freeway with this company logo on the side of the truck. Speeding and cutting in front of others very closely. They not only should check their drivers but looking at the reviews they need to check their skills to.

We have a new build home whose roof was installed by this company, my neighbor noticed we had some cracked tiles so I called the builder who directed me to Leonard's as the roof installer. We had a guy come out and check it out and said there were several tiles cracked but he fixed the major crack. He said we would be back to fix the rest and have Daisy contact me to set up a time. Never heard back!! Any builder using them to install roofs for their homes need to look for another company that has better customer service and response time. Oh he also try to place blame on the solar installer who cracked the tiles but the way he was walking up there, I doubt he cracked more of them. STEER CLEAR FROM THIS COMPANY!

Where do I begin? Every time it rained, the water leaked under the eaves and got the stucco wet. I called KB Homes about it and Leonard sends out a repairperson to take a look. The guy didn't even speak English. He poured some water down the roof to the edge. With the limited English skill he had, he told me that my rain gutter was to blame and that it should be shifted over a few inches. Then he left. I did what he asked, but that didn't solve the issue. Called AGAIN and this time they sent over Mark. He took several tiles off and discovered the problem. He ""fixed"" it. (When hurricane Hilary came by a few weeks ago, the same thing happened.) I asked for photos of his repair and a copy of the paperwork. I was told to contact Daisy, so I did. No response. I had to leave a voicemail and an email. Still no response. This was 8/15. Today is 9/4. Why does KB Homes do business with this company. I hope this is not the same company that also does the flooring because I have some issues with that as well.

Leonard roofing installed my 2019 built home's roof during construction. Then in May of 2023 a window washer walked on my patio roof and broke 3 tiles.
I called Leonard Roofing to see if I could have them come out and replace them.
They said Yes!
They sent a great guy who checked all of my roof, found no other broken tiles, then carefully installed 3 new ones on the patio roof. All of this for a low price.
I highly recommend Leonard roofing for new roof jobs and also repairs.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are incompetent and dishonest. I bought a Pulte home and they were the vendor that Pulte contracted. I had a horrible situation where sand and soot were coming into my house through the kitchen range hood. This had been improperly installed and the venting was not done correctly. Pulte send Leonard out 4 times to fix the situation. They failed. To add insult to injury, their worker dented my new range stove top when he carelessly worked with the metal duct on top of the stove. They refuse to take responsibility.
I finally hired my own contractor who fixed the problem.

This company was hired by KB Homes and installed our roof. They botched the install and cut corners. Sure enough years later (and while still under builder warranty) our roof leaks and damages dry wall. They said it's not their fault, even though we had multiple inspectors confirmed the installation was done incorrectly. DON'T USE THEM!
