I have reported them to the BBB and will take further action since they refused to respond. They took $250 deposit without any work, after 3 attempts. They STOLE my money, then became unresponsive and listed as ""temporarily closed"". DO NOT USE THEM! They are criminals.

Chalk up another scam by Ty Harrington. Took my $787.50 deposit, rescheduled several times, never showed up. This man should be locked up. BEWARE!!!

When you think of a terrible contractor, Ty is that guy. Shows up the first day, late. A 3 day job took over 2 weeks. I got texts from him at least 4 time ""I'm on my way"" and didn't even show up. Nothing but lies, total con man! DO NOT HIRE!!

He is a thief. He took a deposit, did not turn up to do the work as promised and only refunded half of the deposit. Have contacted him a couple of times and now he does not respond. Do you give this man any money!

Keeping the appointments you set to come back.Over a week and still no where in site.The roof leak you ""did"" is still leaking .You said you would be here at at 1:30 it is now 5:10. I was going to get the whole house tiled and othe things done.After the dealing with you over this one small job you can't complete I will find a company that can do the jobs I need done and done on time.lets see if you delete this like you did my earlier post

Negotiated a price to install three fans and three flush mount lights in existing locations. Business owner showed up hours late the first day. When arriving he needed us to get a smaller size flush mount and promised to be back by 9:00 a.m. tomorrow. He never showed up and texted a few times saying he would be right there. It is now 3:00 and he still hasn't shown. Wasted an entire day waiting.

I had to give one star due to literally an entire day wasted waiting along with hours wasted the day before. Also, nothing was even started.

Warning: Joe, the owner of Legends Handyman Service is a thief and a liar. I hired him to do some work at my house. He came for 1 day, then requested advance payment so he could pay his crew. After that he disappeared. I called and texted him but there was no response. Weeks went by and I had to hire someone else for the job.
Suddenly, Joe contacted new out of the blue, asking for more money. He said he had been in a car crash and was in hospital. I thought that was amazing as he had been posting on social media the whole time that he was unconscious in hospital.
I simply ignored him as I didn't want to deal with fruit loop. Then he came back to my house and stole hundreds of dollars worth of stuff while no one was there.
Do yourself a favour and stay far, far away from this this thief.

First he requested I send him money by western union or money gram, which is incredibly dodgy. He then requested I pay to other people's bank accounts. Again, this is completely sketchy. However I paid $300 to the bank account he requested.

The guys at Legends Roofing & Home Repair did a great job repairing my roof. They was helpful, affordable, and the out come was above the rest. I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

Worst masonry work I have ever seen! Hired Legends Home Repair to perform small job, replace broken brick underpinning, 3 tier by 20' foot long, completion of 7 days of delays (excuses), after my inspection looked like kids stacking brick for the first time and globed mortar here and there or maybe had a mud fight... After confronting him (Legends Home Repair) of poor workmanship, he threatened to sue and wanted his money NOW.....if I had their time, I would of seen 'em court. Conclusion, paid off due to time of the importance and all of Legends Home Repair brick work was demolished and correctly replaced, by others. Legends Home Repair is unable to perform masonry work, also they may use some ethic training too! Beware all.

We hired Legends Home Repair to do some remodeling for us on a home we had purchased. They were to do the work while we packed up and moved from another state. They had five weeks to complete the work in the agreed. upon time frame. If I could give zero or negative stars I would. I've been in the legal field for a long time and am usually very thorough in researching who I choose to perform any kind of service, but admittedly, I was so overwhelmed with moving details I dropped the ball on this one. It would be easiest to just move on from this horrible experience, but I don't want anyone falling into the same trap we did.

Unfortunately, based on pictures we paid for services that were not performed. Not one of the agreed-upon projects was completely finished. Upon arrival to our new house, we found the exterior painting had been done in a sloppy fashion and the window trim was not painted at all -- we ended up having to do the scraping and painting of trim -- see picture. They painted on the exterior attic window and left it. The interior painting was incomplete, shoddy or not done at all. I'm not a pro but even I know to take switch plates off the wall before painting or pull out nails in a wall and not leave them in and paint around it. Again, we have had to touch up what had been done and paint rooms that were not done which is not easy when you haven't even unpacked from a cross-country move. The bathroom remodel was totally unfinished with sheet rock missing, bathtub not complete, tile work not complete -- see pics -- and the pantry with lighting and shelves they were to build was only about 35 percent complete with no shelves, incomplete build and no lighting which we have hired someone to finish.

Legend's excuse was I had added projects for them to do. Yes, I did add a few things and they were paid accordingly. But virtually none of the original projects were completed. They never showed up when they said they were coming to finish the projects, some excuse about their GPS went out (they live only an hour away) and their car overheated (on the same day ) so they were checking into a motel (again, they live only an hour away) and would arrive the next day. Anyway, not having time for excuses and more shoddy work, I fired them even though they had been paid. That is how bad the workmanship was. They have promised a refund on the incomplete work which the check is literally ""in the mail"" and has not shown up and, of course, never will. When we tell our friends this story they say, ""Oh, yes, contractor hell ."" Yep, contractor hell pretty much sums up the whole experience with Legends Home Repair.
