For starters, the S.F. review on Yelp is from Sarah Francis, who is Shaun's secretary.

We used Leedham Roofing several years ago, and couldn't have been happier. Unfortunately, this clouded my judgement in trusting him again/not researching the current state of his ""business"" practices.

I paid Shaun Leedham several thousand dollars for materials to do our roof in October. He told me our roof would be installed the next week. Over the course of several attempts to reach him over the past 4 months, I have been told many times over that we were ""next on the list"" or in the ""next week or 2"". Now, I cannot reach him or his secretary.

The office address they list is vacant and I have been told it is because they were evicted. I also spoke with another ""customer"" who paid him several thousand dollars in July and did not get a roof.

Buyer beware.

I would like to share my experience with Shawn Leedham Roofing. Last year on July 13, 2017 I wrote a check to him for $3,326.00 for up front expense he had. Since then he has made may excuses why he didn't come to do my roof even though he cashed my check. He did my roof before this and did a great job so I trusted him with my $3,326.00. It is now January 2018 and I have not seen or heard from him.

""We had our roof replaced less than a year ago by Shaun at Leedham Roofing. On 7/12/17, we noticed there was a roof leak in our bedroom. We contacted Shaun and was supposed to come out the following Monday to investigate the leak. Ever since the first phone call, we have been unable to reach Shaun via phone or email. It has come to my conclusion that he is avoiding us. I checked the BBB and his business has been revoked.""

Update:

One day after I posted my negative review on Yelp, Angieslist, etc., I finally receive a response from Leedham Roofing. He requested that I remove my negative review. I was happy to remove the negative review only if the leak is fixed. I believe that is fair. Instead of trying to resolve the roof leak, I was attacked with threats to remove the negative reviews. Issue not resolved.

Leedham roofing are thieves and Liars I hired Shaun Leedham the owner of the company which his arrogance and ego as well as is narcissistic illness he decided not to honor the contract he picked out the shade of shingle he wanted to put on which I put out a completely different shingle in color and he took off two of my skylights and would not return them until I paid an extra $750 on a $10,000 roof and that was not part of the contract ,plus there was personal belongings that were stolen where I had to file a police report for theft ,, do not do any business with this company an this individual you will be very sorry and it's the bait and hook method that he will do something and keep your property for ransom,, even his ex partner Gary Tarton that his name is on the contract has received dozens and dozens of complaints about Shaun Shady work dealings!!

Tough roofing job...Leedham was incredibly professional, timely, and produced a quality roof and gutter project. Highly Recommend.
