A rep was on a neighbor's roof and said he saw damage on our roof, would we like him to check it out, my wife said ok.

He went on our 3 year old cement roof and said there were several broken tiles and we should get a complete new roof, insurance will pay for it.

My wife said, what are you kidding, we are not getting a new roof, she asked for an estimate for the repairs and we never heard back from them.

The person on the phone was polite and said someone would come to give us an estimate. The gentleman arrived at the agreed time and he said we would receive an estimate in a day or two via email. We never heard back from them.

We just had a roof put on by Leak Busters. I can't say enough positive about the experience. The price was great. From Richie and his front office to the work crew, they were professional, organized and responsive to all of our questions. We had at least 7 estimates from different local companies. Once we decided to go with Leak Busters we were on the schedule very quickly. The crew showed up as promised, 8 am and had the tear off of the shingles and installation of the metal roof for the gable part done in one day. They cleaned the entire area and we didn't find as much as a piece of shingle or any nails laying around. They returned to prepare the flat section of the roof, scraped, patched and sealed all the seams. Then top coated the entire flat roof with silicone sealant. Highly recommend.

I took over as owner builder of the house I drew. I learned a lot in this process and what to look for in a tradesman.

On Final inspection the Building Inspector found an issue with the flashing by our entryway.

Richie came by the next day, spoke to the inspector to get the scope of work in roofer terms, gave us a fair price and then Richie squeezed us in bc we needed this for a temporary Certificate of Occupancy meaning I could stay in the house while balance of items finished. This saved me 45 minute drive each way each day!

The crew got the work done and the inspector stopped by and told us the work was exactly what he/county required. Temp CO granted! I have attached 2 pictures of what I needed done from ground level.

We has a major metal roof repair to do post Irma on Big Pine Key. Richie and Leak Busters took the job and started immediately. They were always available to answer questions, did the entire project from permitting to inspections in a few weeks, and were professional all around. You may be thinking ""this is what a roofer should do"", but when we tried several other contractors they had voicemail saying they wouldn't even start projects for 3 months, few picked up the phone, and few returned calls. It is obviously very busy in this area, but the Leak Busters folks made the time needed for customer support.
