Roy and his crew did an awesome and efficient job. He inspected our roof on Monday and was able to start demo work on the roof by Friday with city inspection completed. They finished reroofing in two days. Roy was very responsive and kept us updated on a daily basis which I really appreciated. Would highly recommend for any roofing needs. Thank you again!

They re-roofed a building in which I am a tenant. Something was damaged (accidentally) in the process and they were incredibly professional and prompt in making it right. Can't recommend them enough.

It was time to take care of my 100 year old roof on my arts and crafts house. I received 8 bids. A few bids were lower than Lara's, however, when asking further questions, those bids did not include the removal of additional layers of roofing, etc. I hired Lara's because their bid was the most detailed (so no money surprises), excellent yelp reviews, and I felt confident the crew would not take shortcuts. Roy answered all my questions about the contract. The job was done in 3 days. A lot of dryrotted wood was replaced/repaired. Even the wood that I didn't think would be reachable. Roy responded immediately to each email and phone call. If you have an attic, be sure to cover everything in plastic, as there will be debris. The inspection was done via video, and it passed - no problem. I highly recommend Lara's Roofing.

I was nervous about getting a new roof, but Roy made the whole process so easy. We have an extremely high pitched roof and some roofers wouldn't work with us. But Roy is quick to respond, explains everything and is a really nice guy. And the workers! The workers are amazing. They work fast and clean and we're so happy with our new roof. I highly recommend Lara's roof. Recently, I hired them to re-roof my house and from the get-go, I was completely happy with every interaction AND the price(I don't want to bury the lead!). Roy was very professional from the get go-- very personable and informative in describing how the process would unfold while identifying the particulars(adding vents, using torch-down materials, cricket for the chimney--that area had been leaking) and citing the corresponding codes--all in about 20 minutes. (I was up on the roof with him.) I had three other bids and although they were very professional and seemed trustworthy(and more expensive), they spent a lot of time being personable. That's great but--full disclosure--I used to be a contractor and don't need the hand holding. I just need to feel YOU know exactly what you're doing. And Roy hit the mark solidly..and personably. Also, he was hugely communicative; calling me within an hour or two the couple of times I had questions about the bid and the process. The bid happened to be the lowest I had received. I'm sure I could have found cheaper but I doubt the level of quality would have matched this. In fact, some of the higher bids where charging extra for the cricket, roof vents, and metal valleys--all of which are standard for Lara's. (And metal valleys ROCK.) In addition, I could not have been happier with the work, my rapport with Dekel the foreman, the cleanliness of my property when they were done--in 2 days(3 bed, 2 bath)!!--and the ease with which it all went down.

So yes, I whole-heartedly endorse Lara's Roof.

My new roof was recently completed by Lara's Roof and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a contractor, maybe the best. I cannot recommend them highly enough. First, the owner, Roy, is honest, straight-forward and trustworthy, incredibly responsive, and committed to detailed and high quality work. I had other competitive bids but I chose Lara's because of the confidence I had in Roy. The crew did an amazing job, going above and beyond what I expected. Here are some examples. I had diverter on one part of my roof. It was white and I wanted to paint it brown to match the roof. They told me to not to worry as they would get me a new one to match. They painted all the pipes protruding from my roof brown to match. I had them install special vents for the bathroom exhaust fans and found out post-job that the crew had reached down into the attic to pull up the fan ducts and attach them to the vents, which I was going to pay someone else to do.

I found Lara's from reading Yelp reviews. I now know that those are honest reviews as the great experiences others had with the company are what I had. So get other bids to satisfy yourself that you're not paying too much or that you haven't found a better roofer. Then hire Lara's for your roof job!!

I know you came to yelp to find a good roofer. Like you, I noticed all the 5 star ratings. Well, all I can say is, They Are All Real. This is one good thing the internet has brought to our lives. It helps us consumers.

Lara's Roof just put a new roof on my house and it was a perfect experience. My first call was answered promptly and I got a quote in a very timely manner. Their price was competitive and I knew exactly what it included.
Communications were clear, the schedule precise, and the cost exactly as quoted. The roof looks great and the clean up was thorough.
Every person I came in contact with - from Roy to the driver of the truck that delivered the materials - was friendly, courteous, and professional.
