I am a real client and the Project Managers assigned to me were two men, Oz Buhbut and Mateo. I signed my contracted project with them on 11/22/2022 for Solar Install and Artificial Grass install and after 6 months I am paying more now for my Solar & ""Green"" Energy Contract than what I was paying for my original electric bill, water, and gardening ALL COMBINED.

TLDR: Don't do business with LA Green Development period or their loan company Mosaic.

LA Green Development received 42 Reviews all at the same time with 5 star reviews? Very questionable reviews and also explains my experiences with their unethical business practices.

This is the actual email I sent on May 4, 2023 then again on May 8 to their Branch Manager, May Perez, outlining the issues and problems that their company caused which initially she agreed to fix #1, #2 & #4 but after 18 days they have fixed nothing and are trying to lowball me and have me pay more money out of pocket even after signing a $101,000 project!

""Hello Representative of LA Green Development (Socal Energy & Power, Mosaic:

I have 4 specific grievances and complaints that need to be addressed and fixed immediately since the LA Green Development Project Manager/Sales Rep assigned to me, Oz Buhbut, has not done a sufficient job and I'd like to maintain a good relationship and provide positive reviews and referrals of your company if you can help me fix the following problems:

1. I requested to have my Living Room ceiling to be fixed and included in my original construction contract but Oz failed to do so after multiple requests in-person. So I request that an addendum to the contract be made to include, at no additional cost, the Living Room dry wall repair and mold removal/remediation or whatever procedure needed to remove the mold that LA Green Development found.

I was verbally promised by Oz Buhbut and Mateo that they would include the Mold Test for my living room to the original contract and if mold was found then they would do the necessary Mold removal/remediation to remove the mold and repair my living room ceiling. This was not included in my original contract and I had to ask for it multiple times to be added as promised which finally happened on 11/22/2022 but now the Mold removal/remediation and Dry wall ceiling repair must be added also.

2. I still do not have PTO from Edison so my Solar is not active and I do not know if it even works. It has been over 30 business days since the receipt of my NEM 2.0 application and my construction contract was signed in late November 2022.

3. My HVAC system blew a fuse in the motherboard on 12/15/2022 while LA Green Development contractors had access to my fuse box and actively working on my electrical system and our thermostat and heating did not work. I informed Oz of the problem and after 19 days and multiple texts and calls from me following up with Oz, he tells me ""so nothing new it's very old HVAC we send the serial number to the HVAC company to see if they have the parts we need the don't answer yet.."" and he eventually says after about 3 weeks of reporting no heating during the cold winter time that his HVAC tech ""cannot find the part"" and fix it.
So I contacted my own HVAC Professional and they were able to assess and fix the problem within 3 days and found the very same motherboard/part that Oz said he and his HVAC tech could not.
I want to be reimbursed the $525 for my HVAC repair that LA Green Development is responsible for. The receipt is attached to this email.

4. I was informed by Mosaic that if my solar system is not active or the project is not complete then any loan payments I make would be reimbursed by my installer, LA Green Development (Socal Energy & Power) until the project is fully complete. I have now made 2 monthly loan payments (March & April 2023) and I request reimbursement for both.

My rating is a zero if I could, I was excited to do our roof , when Danielle came and explained the process seemed easy enough we explained to her everything that needed to be done, she said everything would be covered , but when it can done to it it was not , apparently facia board replacement was not included in our contract which makes no sense when your are putting a brand new roof, but we specifically told her that they needed to be replaced , she said don't worry when the inspector comes he will tell us what needs to be replaced, and it will be taken care off, then the contractor said no they were not included, she lied and was not transparent with us from the beginning, the crew they brought was very dirty, they let all the debris fall on my clothes, washer drier , my personal stuff when they removed the roof, when I called to report it I had nothing but excuses made for them, so with all that said I have to pay out of pocket for facia boards when it was their miss communication, I should not have to pay out of pocket when this contract is costing me a huge amount of money , I would have never gone business with them and no I don't recommend them at all I

We had interviewed with a few companies to install a new roof an solar panels. When we met Danielle with Green Development, she seemed so polite and customer service oriented and offered everything that we needed and told us it could be done in a matter of days. She also promised that she would be on site to supervise during the process. That was the first and last time that we saw her. It has been one delay after the other. When I call, she doesn't answer my calls. She texts me. When I tell her that things are not in order, because I call the city myself to check to see if what they are telling is true, I find out that it isn't, she's told me to relax.

This process started in November 2022 and here it is February 2023 and our roof hasn't even been approved by the city. The solar panels have been installed and now have to be removed and everything done all over again because of errors that could've been prevented if the company and their contractors would've been on the same page and done it correctly the first time.

We're praying that we will be able to give a better review after this is finally completed.

I requested information because I was curious but I was busy and the rep said she would call me back in an hour. She called me 4 more times at 3:44pm, 4:04pm 4:52pm and 4:53pm. I was put off by the number of times they called me so I told them I wasn't interested and a man in the background yells, ""You called us!"" So unprofessional and rude. I actually didn't call them. I requested information through an ad on INSTAGRAM and they contacted me 5x within a span of less than 2 hours. NO THANK YOU.

Called for a solar consultation and had an appointment made within a week. Liroy was the person who I met with. He did an excellent job of explaining the process from start to finish and answering all the questions I had for him. Going solar is a very good decision but it needs to be done carefully. LA Green Development is an amazing company ! The overall experience was very professional and pleasant. I highly recommend them!

She was friendly, curteous and answered every question we threw at her. Diana and her assistant Vania were in constant communication with us and available 24/7 to answer more questions when they arose. Absolutely loved my experience with this company. I would definitely use them again. From the beginning getting information about solar panels to getting them installed. The project manager Daniel G. was wonderful and courteous to deal with. He was always available to answer all my questions and was very professional.
