Hiring this company was the BEST choice I made! Not only were they fast & efficient... they were respectful to the neighbors and showed me all the upgrades throughout the process. The price was amazing and was split for each part of the job, the finished roof was incredible, and I get to enjoy my morning coffee with them for a few more days, because my neighbor just hired them to do their roof :)

Leo showed up didnt even give me a ballpark estimate for either a roof repair or replacement. He explained everything wrong with my roof but would not commit to a estimate to fix it? He asked if i was getting other estimates and umm yes! He told me hed come in 1000 under there bid. Dont give them your business.
And since i left him a bad review i am now getting harassing phone calls

Tom at LA ROOFING was by far the most knowledgeable Roofing specialist we had come and evaluate our roof. He was clear and precise and communicative throughout the entire process and never left us in the dark. Even though this roofing project ended up being much larger than we intended, we feel secure and satisfied in the end result. Everyone else who came out made hollow promises for ""quick fixes"" instead of doing the legwork and giving us an in depth analysis of what we were really up against. We even had a company not step foot on our roof and gave us an estimate!!! Insanity. Save yourself the time and headaches - these guys are legit.

I made an appointment for today November 10th at 4:00 PM. A person by the name of ""John"" showed up on time. I greeted him and let him onto the property. Mind you, he did not wear a mask. He asked me what I needed done as he walked through the gate from the alley. I told him and he said why would you want to waste the money if all you wood is bad. We were still at the gate when he said that. He did not inspect anything to make such judgement. Let's say he is experienced I would expect him to check the roof wood structure by examining closely and looking into the attic like the solar company's engineer did before their installation.
 
He proceeded to insult me by saying, and I quite ""this work is done by monkeys"" he was referring to a piece of wood (fascia) that I replaced because it got knocked down by tree removal people. I asked him to stop and told him that I did the work and did not appreciate the insult and kicked him off of the property.
 
This company should not send people like this ""John"" to people's property if they are going to behave in such an unprofessional and insulting manner. That is not a way to conduct business.
 
I would not and do not recommend doing business with this company solely based on this ""John's"" attitude and lack of professional conduct and respect.

All I wanted was 1) look at my roof 2) give me 2 options and what each option would cost. That's it.

First experience with this company was being on the phone with a lady who asked a bunch of questions about the condition of my roof, when it was last worked on, and which company worked on it. I normally don't like to share so much details because from experience I know they're sizing up their competition and will look for ways to discredit other companies by pointing out their flaws.

After I spoke with the lady, they sent Leo out to meet us. It took over an hour for him to see our roof and then discuss roofing options that he wanted us to decide on the spot. My husband had to get back to his work so he told Leo if he could wrap up in 15 minutes, and Leo got defensive and I could tell he was a bit flustered probably because he's used to going for the hard sell which is educate us for the next 45 min to an hour on why their company is the best and uses the best materials then suck us in. He also tried other tactics that we've heard before, which is trying to lock us in on what materials, style, and colors we want and a schedule BEFORE he could give us a quote. I mentioned that I was adamant about maintaining the Spanish characteristic of the house and using clay tile and he tried to tell us that they're not as protective as asphalt shingles. That's just ridiculous. Clay tile roofs are fire resistant and can last up to 75 years! I honestly feel sorry for people who don't know any better or are trying to be polite and they end up trusting these companies because they hang fear over their heads that their house is going to collapse, or that it will cost a lot more if they don't do it NOW, etc. Leo could tell that we weren't getting anywhere when we pressed him on what we were looking for, which was pretty simple: give us 2 options and their prices; one with Asphalt shingles w/ clay accent tiles, and one with 100% Clay tiles. He told us to call him back when we get other bids and left us with his business card and a note that he will beat any competitor for $1000. Thanks but no thanks.

I would highly recommend! I had to reroof as the roof in a house I bought was totally worn out. Leo Edry and his team came and did an amazing job: they promised 5 days and did it in four, including new gutters around the house and replacing my basement insulation. They team cleaned after themselves every end of day, they worked really hard, where constantly checking that I'm happy and comfortable with the work, very transparent and credible, going down to details, and Leo did everything he could to make me content, including reviewing the teams cleanup when everything was done. The roof looks amazing, and I'm getting compliments from my new neighbors. Thanks team for the great job!

Would never consider doing business with this company after our initial experience with Leo who came to do an estimate on a small roof repair. He walked in the door with a very negative attitude that kept getting worse through out the process. He was very through in his assessment of the situation and I do commend him for that, but the hostility he expressed when we tried to simply get an estimate for the work was ludicrous. I work with the public daily, while they might be skilled with their wok, I'll never find out because he opted to simply leave with out even giving us a ball park and was questioning from the beginning if we even wanted to get the work done.
Looks like we'll need to continue to look for bids....

I wanted to let you all know that if you are having problems with a leaky roof, call L.A Builders and roofing Specialists. I had multiple leaks to the back of my house a few years ago, and had the contractor who originally did my roof to send his roofing people back multiple times, and they were never able to fix it. I called L.A Builders and roofing Specialists and they scheduled me for the next day, sure enough the crew that came knew exactly how to fix those leaks and i've signed on the spot with them. No more leaky roof anymore, no more patches anymore. If you have any leak problems in the roof you have to call these guys. They were extremely reasonably priced, and they fixed the problem on their first attempt. Highly recommended without any hesitation!
