Dishonest company.

I hired Kyle roofing company on 12-6-2022 to do some roof repair for a leak I had. The gentleman arrived at 8am. I signed a contract for a $125.00 show up fee and $135.00/hrs contract fee plus any materials. I had to go to work so he continued working while I was gone. I checked on the progress as I have a Ring camera in my front house that overlooks the front street. His truck was parked from 8am to 9:15am when he left to get some materials. He got back at 9:50am. He continued to work and loaded up his ladder and left the site at 12:25pm. Once I received the invoice, I noticed that it seemed pretty high. I called and ask for an itemized breakdown of the charges. The gentleman I spoke with told me that his employee informed him that he worked 5 hrs. I disputed that and let him know that my security camera shows different. He claimed his employee left and came back twice. The first time that I described above and the second time he said he left at 12:30 and came back at 2pm to place some extra tiles, which I knew was not true because my camera showed him loading his ladder at 12:25 and never came back. The gentleman did good work as the leak was fix. However I cannot recommend this company that is dishonest when it comes to the billing charges. If I did not have a security camera they probably would have gotten away with it.

Professionals will return phone calls, even if it is to say that they can't help. If you don't act professionally before you get a job, what makes me think that you will do so after you get the job?

If you're looking for a roofing company that won't stand behind their customers, look no further than Kyle Roofing.

Need a new roof vent that was meant for ridgelines, but instead installed just above the fascia boards? Hire Kyle...then hope you don't need to wait for the first storm to hit before realizing the wrong materials were used and the roof leaks like a waterfall inside your kitchen.

Got new comp shingles that proved to be defective just after the warranty expired? You'll receive reluctant assistance from Kyle Roofing, but be prepared to do much of the legwork yourself...and educate yourself regarding the Statute of Repose.

If you love hearing the words, ""Sorry, but the warranty has expired,"" search no further and remember Kyle Roofing.

Two years ago I contracted with Kyle Roofing to replace the aging roof on my home in the Morro Bay Area. The home, built in 1958 had endured a leak in the area of the chimney for decades. Kyle roofing recommended a membrane roof due to the low pitch. They began when they said they would and completed the job in a timely fashion and communicated any issues with me promptly. Now two years in, with several pacific storms in the books, the roof is in tact with no leaks or issues. I highly recommend Kyle Roofing.

All the reviews posted describe Kyle Roofing accurately. We had a serious leak suddenly develop, (i.e. it finally rained enough to notice it) and although they are always busy, and deservedly so, they did their best to fit us in within a reasonable time. I don't even ask them for an estimate anymore because I know they will get here asap and do quality work for a fair price. Both the workers and the office staff are old-school courteous, a real pleasure to deal with them.

We recommend Kyle Company Roofing with the highest confidence. They advertise the company as ""The People Who Stand Under Their Work!"" That is the truth.

Kyle Company Roofing removed our old roof, and installed a new one in April, 2015. The job looked great, and we were very satisfied.

Subsequently, however, we developed leaks which led to staining of our ceiling in the room underneath. Kyle responded quickly to our calls, and stayed on the problem until it was fixed, both on the roof, and inside on the ceiling.

As it turns out, the leaks were determined to be due to a new worker's faulty installation, and that worker is no longer with the company.

What we wish to stress here is that mistakes happen, and how companies handle those mistakes is what is important. Ken, the President of Kyle, assured us from the beginning that all would be taken care of to our satisfaction. His words were ""whatever it takes."" This included tearing out the old wood ceiling and replacing it if that was our decision. He never swayed.

We eventually chose to seal the old ceiling and paint, and Kyle made it right. We are VERY happy with the results.

Again, we highly recommend Kyle Roofing.

We had called the for a roof leak. They sent a person out, he looked at our ceiling, saw the water leaking, told us that we had a roof leak and that he would have to call someone to provide us with an estimate, and left. We never heard back, requiring that we make numerous calls, which were never returned. We then received a $160 bill. On inquiry, we were told that was the cost to have someone come out and look at our leak, When we called about the bill, we were told that was their service fee and that if we wanted an estimate, we would be charged another $160. What a rip-off. I would not recommend to anyone to this operation.

Absolutely professional job getting my roof repaired in September 2015. They came and assessed the problem areas in July and promised to outline them all in a bid for repairs. About 3 weeks later the estimate came in and it was a little higher than I expected, but we went ahead with the job, anyway. They started a week or two ahead of schedule, which worked out OK for us. Overall, it took 3 days to complete, and the final cost came in under bid. Thanks Kyle Company.

Professional work at a fair price. I called Kyle Company to check out a possible leak in my roof. They quoted what I considered a fair price. I didn't even feel the need to get competing bids. They ended up finishing the work faster than they estimated and the bill was less than the estimate - a nice surprise! I would definitely call them again if I needed a roofer.

Kyle Roofing did urgent repairs on my roof that fixed a leak problem all at a reasonable price. They know roofs and do quality work.

I also got a bid for replacing the entire roof. Here, too, they went beyond my expectations by making excellent recommendations that I never would have considered. I'll be using them again.
