Retained Krause to replace our 25-year old cedar shake roof with Certainteed ""Presidential Shake Luxury Shingles"" (knew exactly what I wanted so I avoided any sales pitches of one product over another) and to replace all gutters and downspouts. They were very prompt and responsive, from the first call to the office requesting a quote, through the completion of the job. Their bid was almost 30% less than the other I received (for roughly the equivalent scope of work and materials), and they also came highly recommended by a neighbor as well as several local realtors. The crew (led by Jim's son-in-law Phillip) was polite, professional and on time each day, and they cleaned up at the end of each of the four days they were on the job. They explained everything they were doing (our roof was a bit complicated), and showed great care about landscaping, outdoor furniture, etc. The house looks almost like new again. I'd highly recommend Jim and his company.
