So happy to have this company in my town, can walk in their office any time..and what a pleasant women are in their office! They treat you like a family member. They came right away when I had a leak over the garage door, completed the fix so efficiently! They sent 4 roofers, because it was an emergency (rainy week) and they inspected the whole roof, cleaned concrete tiles and gutters - all was done in 2 visits.
Will never look for any other company to work on my roof - Knox have the best customer service and are very professional. Thank you, Knox roofing!

I'm livid at these people. they will not fix the roof they put on and gave warranty on. it has leaked and I spoke to the owner specifically and he yelled at me like it is my fault. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! Notice all the ""awesome"" reviews are from before they put on the roof.

when I came back asking for a warranty after water was streaming down my walls I was told he would not cover it. my contractor said it was negligent work and I was told by Knox that I had to sue them to get any help.

Knox Roofing is the BEST. They are experts at roofing and have great customer service. Knox replaced all of my skylights which made my house much brighter. While they were at it they inspected my roof and gave it a thumbs up. Nice to know :)
Then I had Knox back to install gutter guards. First they cleaned all the gutters top to bottom. You can't imagine all the junk that builds up in your gutters! Then they installed the gutter guards and now I don't have to worry about leaves and needles blocking up my gutters - FOREVER!
The pricing was very reasonable and well worth every penny. I highly recommend them.

Prior to this year, I would have given Knox Roofing a good review. However, I was just informed that when they put in my roof (about 10 years ago), they allowed all the debris to fall in my attic. This became a great bed for rodents. In addition, they allowed all of my insulation to drop. Consequently, my freezing house had absolutely no insulation. Good to know if you are planning a roofing job with Knox.

Shocked at the MESS at the site of reroofing in Carmel Valley. Small scraps of ""tar paper,"" bags, clear wrap, smashed water bottles - all blowing around and down into the neighbor's yard and dangling from oak trees. 2 weeks of untiled roof and then, today, steady rain on the felt roof and lumber.
To top it off, likely no recycling of vintage roof tiles which could have/should have been reused. Habitat for Humanity??!!
I am thankful for my roofer - a smaller company with high reviews. He also was 1/3 price of the companies with more familiar names (heavy advertisers).

Our home developed a leak during the last rain. Called Knox 4 times and left messages. No one ever returned our calls. Very disappointing.

I am giving Knox Roofing 5 stars, and let me say things did NOT go as planned. This might sound crazy, but let me explain. One would think a roof is a roof; how hard can it be. But, there are some unknowns once the old one is torn off. I appreciated Knox and all of the employees because they wanted to do the job correctly, not just get it done and collect a check. We experienced some expected and unexpected challenges, but Knox kept to the contract and did everything they had promised. The only item that we were charged extra for was some plywood replacement that could not be seen until after the original roof was removed. The guys here showed us the rotten plywood they were recommending we replace while it was still on the roof. We were presented with a change order for the additional cost, and once we approved it, they did the work. Everyone who came to our house was wonderful, professional and they cleaned up each day. When we encountered some issues, Sean, our project manager, quickly replied and resolved them. When finding contractors, I always feel like it is important to find one that you can work with, not just when things are going according to plan, but one who will work with you when unexpected things occur, and that is where Knox Roofing was excellent. I would recommend them to all of my friends and would happily hire them again any time (but hopefully not for the next 15-20 years - the life expectancy of our new roof ;) ).
