I cannot say how much I appreciated every interaction I had with this great company. From the initial call to final accounting, everything was professional, high quality, responsive, and all delivered with good nature and efficiency. My garden was cleaner after Knox left than it was when they arrived, and the new roof/chimney/gutters are just beautiful. I highly recommend this firm for your roofing needs - large or small!

We had an unusual issue. Dead vines stuck in the rain gutter and underneath roof shingles, hanging down from a steep 20' roof that I couldn't get up to and looking very ugly. I called several different roofers, tree trimmers, and gutter cleaners and no one would come out to do the job. Luckily Knox came through for us and did a terrific job at a reasonable cost. Much appreciated!

I am giving Knox Roofing 5 stars, and let me say things did NOT go as planned. This might sound crazy, but let me explain. One would think a roof is a roof; how hard can it be. But, there are some unknowns once the old one is torn off. I appreciated Knox and all of the employees because they wanted to do the job correctly, not just get it done and collect a check. We experienced some expected and unexpected challenges, but Knox kept to the contract and did everything they had promised. The only item that we were charged extra for was some plywood replacement that could not be seen until after the original roof was removed. The guys here showed us the rotten plywood they were recommending we replace while it was still on the roof. We were presented with a change order for the additional cost, and once we approved it, they did the work. Everyone who came to our house was wonderful, professional and they cleaned up each day. When we encountered some issues, Sean, our project manager, quickly replied and resolved them. When finding contractors, I always feel like it is important to find one that you can work with, not just when things are going according to plan, but one who will work with you when unexpected things occur, and that is where Knox Roofing was excellent. I would recommend them to all of my friends and would happily hire them again any time (but hopefully not for the next 15-20 years - the life expectancy of our new roof ;) ).

Did the job but added about 5K for repair work which was just about half of what the total bid for the job upon signing the contract. Didn't send pictures at all of the repair work as requested but the GC was assertively aggressive and persistent when collecting payment including threats for a lean on the property - mind you they never sent any updates or confirmation of completed job and did get full payment within 10 days of completing the job.

Very expensive and then they started coming after me an additional $3k after the work was done! Finally stopped harassing me when I told them I'd see them in court. Did a good job replacing my roof though.

I just recently had my roof replaced in Santa Cruz. I had several bids and finally decided to go with Knox. I am very glad I did. Their crews showed up as scheduled, really got the job done right and were a delight to work with. There were several ""surprises"" from the previous roof job (done 30 years ago) and the Knox crew was able to handle all of them in a timely and very professional manner. We have now had two different rainy systems pass through the area and it is so wonderful to have the existing leak problems solved! Very great group to work with. I appreciate their work immensely!

I called Knox Roofing for a quote to replace my 25+ year old shake roof, Warren came out the very next day! He was sooo though with the walk through and gave me a great estimate for everything I needed to have done. He came under a bid I received from another company with higher quality product plus I needed to have the entire roof plywood done! His team of folks are super friendly and professional especially Sean in their home office. He called he to advise I had severe termite damage, sent me photos and gave me a quote to repair it. I highly recommend these folks for any roofing needs, I had my sister call to have her home and business work done! I have attached a few photos! Thanks Warren!

We had Knox roofing do our roof - in the winter. It started to rain, the unfinished roof started leaking. The crew came out to tarp. No more drips. They finished our roof, and did a beautiful job. I would recommend Knox Roofing. They have been around a long time, and there a reason for that.

I had to get back in contact with them on the roof they did for me to find some matching shingles. I thought the roof was just a couple of years old because it is in Perfect the shape with no issues. Time does fly they did the roof in 2002!They were great then they are great now. Roof is in a very windy harsh weather area with not so much as one loose shingle. They were so great I had them out to do a small shed for me. The were fast, totally professional from start to finish and a great deal. The best
