First of all I am no stranger to being a past customer. I had Knight Roofing (Fremont) put my tile roof on in 2001 ($13,500.) and in 2012 had them out again to work on it (3 hours for $175.) but now I called them to repair 2 shiplap boards that became dry rotted by the Chimney. They came out with a strip of metal flashing and two shiplap boards (that looked recycled) spending under two hours to do the work and (get this) charging a whopping $695.00. (not wanting to give me sticker shock on the price they dropped the $700. to $695) I have no choice but to pay it but in the future I will be going elsewhere for any roof service. Sometimes you become too big and can charge what you want with no consideration for Senior home owners (I am 80 yrs. old) I guess they thought I just bought my home for todays price and I am a millionaire.

I got the name of Knight Roofing from one of my friends. After initial our call, David came to our house quickly for the measurement and the quote. Their quoted price is not the lowest - but after multiple rounds of Q&A with David and Greg, we figured they are the expert of roofing and decided to go with Knight. It turned out to be that we made the right decision - their quality is top-notch. After getting the permit, they finished our project in only 2.5 days, with new shingles, new gutter and an extra layer of 4"" rigid insulation. They completely cleaned up the site after the project. I would highly recommend Knight - if you have roofing needs definitely give them a call.

I had all the roofs on my property replaced in 2018, and Knight Roofing provided superb service. I will definitely recommend Knight Roofing service to anyone. The roof replaced including main house, guest house, 1-car detach garage (all shingles), as well working shed and storage (membrane roofing). From the beginning of the engagement, David was very professional, and promptly provided all the quotes/options and all the product sheets. Our house is a historical house, and changing roof requires permission from the city committee. Greg made great efforts and worked with committee directly on this and made this a smooth process. During the installation, Greg and his team had done a great job and finished all the roof replacement professionally. During their work, they cleaned up every day before they leave the site, to make sure all the hazard material were cleaned up (for example, nails on the drive way). In Jan 2019, the strong wind during a winter storm knocked down one of the oak tree on the property and cause severe damage to one of the newly-installed roof. Greg dispatched his team to cover up the damage area within couple hours, and effectively prevented water leakage into the house. Within one week, the roof was all fixed and installed with new shingle roof. All the above, are the testimony that Knight Roofing is providing first-grade service and taking great care of their customers.

I recently had my roof replaced by Knight Roofing. I had several estimates and had checked out other companies. I feel that I made the best decision. Knight Roofing's management, David, is very good in that he does a through assessment and works with you on pricing. He listens to the customer. In terms of the work, Knight Roofing started the following Monday and finished within 4 days. They have skilled workers who know their job. They work consistently until the work is done. They are no nonsenses people, very skilled and well organized. I cannot be happier with the quality of the work and the time that it took to complete the project. I recommend Knight Roofing without reservation. You are welcome to come and see my roof. They also replaced my gutters and their pricing was in the ballpark. All good.

Knight roofing did a very nice job on our house. Greg patiently answered all of our questions and discussed all of the details. We asked them to reroof our son's house in San Jose and did a great job there also. Greg is always available to handle questions we have had after installation and to send out help when needed. If we had another roof to be done, we'd certainly have them do it.

The discovery of another cracked tile on August 13th led me to have to call Greg again to have a crew replace it. (They previously replaced 4 in November 2018 just before Thanksgiving.) He indicated that as soon as their crew had jobs in my area they would come and do the work. Today, the crew arrived and discovered 7 more tiles that needed replacing. The crew chief told me that the wild turkeys in our area wreak havoc on the roofs due to their weight and they often get calls to replace tiles here. Greg was as good as his word and I am very pleased with them. The only minor nit pick would be that I was not aware they were coming today as Greg said he would call to let me know when the crew was coming. And, because they needed 7 more tiles, had I not been home they would not have had access to the additional tiles. Still, in a day and age when the concept of customer service seems to have been lost, it is refreshing to experience a company that does what it promises to do. No mean feat!

We had Knight Roofing re-do a roof on a rental property a few years ago. we realized, unfortunately, after we had already paid them that they never actually had the permit signed off. Moreover, recently having had an inspection, we discovered what a poor job they had done. If they had ANY ethical standards and professionalism, they would fix their work.

We had an issue with rot on my fascia boards throughout my home. We had hired a local painter to fix the job. Unfortunately, he decided to leave with our deposit and forget about our job after he cashed our check, pulled off tile off the roofs perimeter, pulled off the the fascia here and there and then left the job in a total disarray. Fast forward 10 months later. After calling over a dozen roof companies that did not return calls after giving estimates or no showed or simply did not call me to schedule an estimate, we could tell that no one really wanted the job. The job would be basically cleaning up someone else's mess. Thankfully we was referred to Knight Roofing and Knight Roofing came to my roofs rescue. After discussion on the best way to proceed with the roof, Dave from Knight Roofing gave sound advice and patiently worked with us to get our roof fixed. We opted to put on a new roof instead of trying to patch and repair the existing damage to our roof. Now, we have a great roof on our house and it was put on in less than a week. Communication with this company was top notch and they fixed any issued we had after the job was done (which was practically none). The crew was clean and courteous. They were not the highest or lowest estimate, but their great customer service and quality of their work is what counted in the end made it well worth the price we paid.
