Recommended Customer Reviews

Well all I can say is beware! These people came to my home hired by the plumbing company who caused the leak in my home. They refused to give me a report of the moisture readings which were taken after my brand new home flooded. I was out of town at the time so was at the mercy of my builder and the plumbing company L & S Plumbing. When I arrived home I found my good Persian rugs piled on top of each other in my garage, wood flooring not removed, and the sheet rock not cut into. It seems that Knight is working with L & S Plumbing to try to show little damage so as to prevent having to pay out claim monies. They refused to give me the report of their services as they said I was not their customer. I called the plumbing company who sent me a partial report and in the report Knight had reported false information i.e. That they cut into the Sheetrock which never happened. They also tried to say that I had called out another restoration company who removed Knights equipment which was another false statement. Now I see why they have poor 1 star ratings.

Knight Restoration did some roof replacement and repairs at our Dallas condo complex. I started out with one small damp spot on my living room ceiling and work started in the fall of 2013. After a small flat area of the roof above was replaced water started leaking through multiple locations, after the first significant rainfall, the crew showed up saying it had not been done right, saying they would fix it (which they did) and repair my interior damage at no cost to me - at their expense. My ceiling has multiple stains, cracks, a 2 ft opening in it and has had soaked insulation removed by the Knight Restoration crew - real nice to live with since fall and through a cold winter!!! Ken has stood in my home on multiple occasions and has assured me they would make it right, as did Jake and Monica (Principal Management) on calls as far back as November 2013. My only request was don't fix the interior UNTIL all the leaking was fixed (they were pushing to start the interior repairs the very next day).
The last of the leaks were finally repaired in the last 2 weeks and now Knight Restoration refuses to fix the interior damage and were even trying to bill my HOA for it, as Monica (Principal Management) left about 6 weeks ago now. I am glad that it appears after 6 plus months the leaks HOPEFULLY are finally fixed but just be sure to get everything Jake or Ken promise in writing!!! The good news, it turns out the cost to repair the interior is just a fraction of what Knight Restoration was wanting to charge. Good luck trying to get a return call from either Jake (waiting 2 weeks now for an update return call that was to be made within 5 mins) and Ken is not much better - he called a week ago today and said he was not happy with the way I have been treated and was trying to get this resolved and felt they needed to come through with what was promised and said I would hear back by the end of the day with a final resolution. Of course, that was a week ago and (shocking) I have never heard a word! We have a new Principal Management person assigned to us and surprise ... calls go to VM, phone calls are not returned and I am still awaiting an e-mail response from R. Hill from last Monday Morning and learned today according to the secretary that she has in fact been in the office all week and was currently in the office in a meeting. I would never again buy in a complex managed by Principal Management - they are the absolute worst! Glad this is done with. Terrible customer service though from both Knight Restoration and Principal Management ... !
