Ken is an excellent roofer. I am a real estate agent and in every transaction we have the roof checked. Whenever possible I bring Ken Matison on to take a look and I really trust his expert opinion. He's one of those companies that is like gold, that you hang onto like a good mechanic or a great dentist. Honest, high ethical standards and gives you the truth everytime. When work is necessary, he does not overcharge and he will tell you honestly what items need attention now and what items can wait a little while before being addressed. Look no further for your roof yet. Also his son specializes in gutters. Family-owned business, super honest good guys.

We loved working with Ken because of a quick response time, which was important as we need a roof cert - like the next day! They were able to come out the next day, give us a second opinion on what was really needed to be fixed in order to have our roof receive a 2 yr cert AND fixed what needed for a very reasonable price. Ken is the best in the business. He is no non-sense trustworthy and experienced at all/any roofing matters. He's done the most complex roofs/jobs for me down to the basic replacing cracked tiles. He is extremely busy but always gets the job done and always comes through. He doesn't take short cuts or half-ass things together. Pricing is very fair and if he tells me he can do something he does it. I've been using him on investment properties, rentals, primary homes, luxury homes, commercial jobs for about 10 years now. I recommend Ken and his crew for any roofing matters big or small.

Used Ken several years ago and he did a fantastic job - quick, efficient and cost effective. When we sold our house the inspector asked for a few additions based on new codes and Ken came back and did the changes at no charge.

DISHONEST CONTRACTOR!

Roof was installed in 2009 and did not pass Code inspection because contractor used staples. Staples were outlawed in 2007. Roof failed in-progress and final inspection. Complaint filed with Contractor's State License Board and in independent inspector filed a report. Inspector's report identified contractor admitted putting it on with stapes and the roof was put on against building codes and needed to be removed. Case went to arbitration where inspector contradicted his report and sided with contractor. To date, I have a roof that will not pass inspection and the contractor has $5,000 of my money.
