Such an honest company! Called for what I thought was a roof leak, got a very helpful person on the phone, right away! Explained the issue and they sent Steve out the very next day - free of charge. This is a difficult review to write as the first sumitted with a negative result. I have been very high on Kirkey Roofing for years and have recommended them to many friends. Kirkey repaired the roof on our first Venice house, installed the roof on our present house in Venice, and just installed a roof for a relative. We lost shingles in two areas on our roof during Ian. We were not going to get three (3) quotes because Kirkey was the only roofing company for us. We asked for Kirkey to repair the roof that they installed in 2009 without a quote.
However, some time later, Dustin, a roofing specalist, arrived for a pre-quote meeting. I explained what we needed and he immediately explained that they were not going to repair a 14 year old roof. After a brief discussion, a full re-roof was the only option. I explained that since there was a prior problem with the roof, we were denied Home owners insurance and were on our own. I also stated that due to the present supply and demand equation, we could wait until the market and material pricing slowed.
Dustin took offense to my explanation; stating I was too negative, would not supply a quote, ""was out of here"" and stormed off to his vehicle.
I called the Kirkey office, the person said that she would see that I get a quote, but have not received a response although I have waited for a few weeks.

Most of the homes in Pelican Pointe were built around 2000. Consequently, a lot of the homes have had a new roof. I have observed the work od several roofing companiew and came to the conclusion that Kirkey was the best of the bunch. We engaged them toi replace our roof and are very pleased with the result. Even in the wake of Hurricane Ian we had no issues. I would recommend Kirkey Roofing without reservation.

We got lucky and had a new roof put on before the hurricane. We opted for the cat 5 guarantee which was only a few thousand more than the cat 3. they did a great job and the roof had no problems at all with the hurricane.

They're certainly not the least expensive option, but they are reliable and they do good work. I used them to assess and repair a problem where I had water flowing behind a super gutter between the house and my pool deck and they quickly determined that I had a roofing problem where water was flowing under the concrete tiles on my roof. They repaired the roof and fixed my problem. I was impressed with their quick diagnosis and the quality of the repair. I'd highly recommend them to other homeowners!
