I am absolutely blown away by the dishonesty, lies and lack of follow through by Bryan at King Bee. I have two rental properties in Grass Valley that he gave proposals for. He gave a great price and i have prior experience with him as he did a roof job for me in Auburn over 20 something years go. Bryan was told we have to notify the tenants ahead of time for him to start the job. He gave us a start date, had materials dropped off but did not show up for the job until days later. I have a property manager who handles this property but i told her I trust Bryan so pay him when he is done. Bryan charged us an extra $450 for dry rot repair even though he stated in the bid that any dry rot repair was included. Come to find out he was disrespectful towards the tenants and left water bottles, nails, shingles and trash all over the yard. Both my p.m. and I called him several times and he pointed blame at ""his mexicans"" and said he was going to fire them. He then told me he was in Nevada City and on his way to my property to clean it up. The next day the mess was still there. It took him two more days for him to get the mess cleaned up while not returning calls. I then drove to GV to inspect the roof myself. Once again his dishonesty was evident when he did not install the gutter guards as per our contract. I finally got him on the phone, and once again, he starts blaming his employees. He starts rambling on about all these other jobs that he underbid and wouldn't let me get a word in. Our call was either disconnected, or he hung up on me but he has not replied to a text or a call in days. Now we find out that ne never got the job finalized with the county as he said he did. He has not made any attempt to rectify the missing gutter guards, or get the missing county paperwork to us. I'm an avid Yelper. Good bad or indifferent, I tell it like it is. Bryan is a POS. he is not the same guy that he was 20 years ago. I imagine he is on drugs and has completely lost his moral compass. Beware of his fast talk and hollow promises.

Bryan did a great fast job on my roof repair. His price was fair as well. He left the job site clean.

A winter storm brought a tree down on our Grass Valley home (a 1979 Mobile home still with the original roof). The damage was went from one end of the roof to another. After some shopping around, we got a quote from King Bee Roofing. I can't overstate how amazing the experience was. Eddie was very professional, came in quickly to assess the damage and what it would cost to replace the old roof. He quoted a cost lower than what the adjuster from the insurance company expected it to be and got to work very quickly. The old roof had been torn out in two days and a new roof was on by the end of the fourth day. Eddie's team left the area around the house as clean as it was before the work.
Flexible, professional and quick, what more can you ask for? Oh, yeah - INEXPENSIVE! None of the frills that other contractors charge you through the nose for. Just the labor and the materials and that is.

There's really no competition. I recommend King Bee Roofing to anyone

This company is run by GYPSY's, use them at your own risk. I received a quote to fix a leaking sky light, with work guaranteed for 20 years. Prior to the job, I was told the owner was in a car accident and wasn't able to come, but he would send his crew. The crew came and did work. When the work was finished, the crew lead handed me an updated invoice with a $500 increase over original bid. I refused the increase and paid the original quoted amount of $2,750 as they did not discuss with me an increase in advance or why.

Fast forward several months and with the next rain storm the skylight was still leaking in the same places. I called the company back to hold them to their guarantee. They told me the skylight needed replaced and refused to help (This would have been nice to know before I was taken for $2,750!) When I informed that I wasn't happy with the situation, the owner then proceeded to give me what I suspect is a false ""sob story"" about his family drama. It was very reminiscent of the car accident ""sob story"" which I also suspect was false. No offer whatsoever to help or provide a partial refund.

I strongly urge to avoid this company.

Eddy Guzman was able to come to our house in Lafayette CA. to provide a price quote, very friendly, and honest and detailed with the work plan and cost of materials. We had Eddy's company King Bee Roofing come and replace our roof early this summer.  We have an older house with a flat roof, and it came out amazing.  Eddy and his team were able to do the roof over a weekend, started early Saturday morning and finished early Sunday afternoon.  The level of detail is what we appreciated most in having the materials delivered to our house a couple of days prior to their start date, how they made the corners / edges of material blend in and is aesthetically pleasing from the street view. We also decided to put in a skylight where the team was able to install that same day and looks stunning in our hallway! Overall, we are extremely pleased with the services and work done. We would highly recommend King Bee Roofing and want to express our appreciation for the excellent customer service we received, professionalism, and quality of work.

Never used this service but I was driving next to someone in their truck and they were driving so dangerously! So unsafe with no regard for others. Makes the business look bad, wouldn't use them if I needed to.

Bryan did a good job at a great price. He's very thorough and takes his time to do the job right. Even though I didn't have a huge, big money, job he fit me in to his schedule.

This company was AWESOME! Bryan and Eddie were very professional and polite. They did a roof inspection of our home and explained their product which was Landmark solar reflective asphalt shingles. They then addressed the issues regarding our roof and gave a reasonable written quote. Work began on time and their crew was polite, professional, hard-working with temperatures in the 100s. As work started dry rot was discovered which needed to be replaced. Eddie took pictures so we could clearly see. The extra work performed was very reasonable. Eddie stayed in constant contact in case we had any concerns. All work was completed with no debris or nails left behind. Highly recommend this company
