If you need your roof done, do NOT use this company! I was told when they signed on the dotted line for a roof that they were 5 weeks out. Which seems excessive to me, but ok. The receptionist Renee tried to put be into October. I said no, mike told me 5 weeks. She said ok and put me on 9/16. We agreed. Emailed this week to make sure of what I needed to do and she said oh by the way I have you on for the 30th. I emailed her back 3 times with evidence that it was the 16th. Finally had to call her because she would never email or call me.
She told me we were moved! Guess I would have found out when they didn't show up on the 16th.
Mike the sales man said they can change us anything. They don't have to notify us. But they can change us. They only have 5 roofers and it will take you 2 months to get a roof. DO NOT USE THEM! Anyone else is better than Kern County Roofing

We had to have a partial refinish to our roof in order to get solar installed. Not only was the crew timely, efficient, and clean, they did a great job that was completed in a couple days. Kern County roofing was recommended to us and their pricing was fair and affordable. We will be using them in the future to finish the refinish! Highly recommend.

I cannot say how wonderful Kern County Roofing is, I had a sub-standard roofing company come out before and they messed up my patio roof (leaks, uneven cuts). I then called Kern County roofing and they came out very quickly to give an estimate Mike came out and explained exactly what was damaged and what needed to be fixed. They were able to fix my patio roof and made it look awesome! No more leaks, everything is cut straight and looks 100% professional. The most amazing part is they offered a 10 year warranty. They also completely cleaned up afterward and if I ever need any roof work again in the future they will be my first call. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I have used Kern Roofing twice now. Once for a repair on a rental and then a new roof. Michael was friendly, responsive and handled everything professionally. Roof turned out great!

Tesla solar hired these guys to do a reroof for my panels, they are persistent with getting it done right but have had some issues with them not leaving paperwork for inspectors and some of the workers were not as professional as I'd want, specifically blasting Spanish music in my older culdasac, owner seems like the kind of guy that would never let this happen, too bad he couldn't be on all the jobs

I looked up this company using the State Contractor website when I was having a patio reconstructed. I had been trying for 6 months to get this job done and kept running into non-licensed operators. The owner, Mike referred me to a licensed general contractor to do the rebuild and then Kern County Roofing did the roofing portion of the job. Not only did they do a great job on the patio, we had them inspect and repair our tile roof. Mike educated us about our roof, how to maintain it, when to have it serviced, etc. His crew is friendly, professional, thorough and efficient. The crew leader (also named Mike) walked around the house with me and made sure I was satisfied with the job. We found one spot (hidden under the gutters which wasn't seen prior to starting the job because we hadn't yet removed them!) that needed attention and he got right on it. They left our property thoroughly cleaned up with no debris remaining.The company is upfront on all pricing and there are no ""surprises"". I am completely confident recommending this company and will be using them again to service our roof! Thank you, Kern County Roofing!!
