Tesla solar hired these guys to do a reroof for my panels, they are persistent with getting it done right but have had some issues with them not leaving paperwork for inspectors and some of the workers were not as professional as I'd want, specifically blasting Spanish music in my older culdasac, owner seems like the kind of guy that would never let this happen, too bad he couldn't be on all the jobs

I looked up this company using the State Contractor website when I was having a patio reconstructed. I had been trying for 6 months to get this job done and kept running into non-licensed operators. The owner, Mike referred me to a licensed general contractor to do the rebuild and then Kern County Roofing did the roofing portion of the job. Not only did they do a great job on the patio, we had them inspect and repair our tile roof. Mike educated us about our roof, how to maintain it, when to have it serviced, etc. His crew is friendly, professional, thorough and efficient. The crew leader (also named Mike) walked around the house with me and made sure I was satisfied with the job. We found one spot (hidden under the gutters which wasn't seen prior to starting the job because we hadn't yet removed them!) that needed attention and he got right on it. They left our property thoroughly cleaned up with no debris remaining.The company is upfront on all pricing and there are no ""surprises"". I am completely confident recommending this company and will be using them again to service our roof! Thank you, Kern County Roofing!!

I called them as a recommendation and they were quick to come and look and an estimate. There pricing is fair and reasonably. My roof got fixed faster then expected they called me and said we have a spot available and we're up there in no time. The gentleman on the roof were very professional and nice. I will definitely use them again if needed. Hopefully not but if I do I'll call kern county roofing. Thanks guys. I will post pictures once I get up and look.

I was given Mike at Kern County Roofing's name and number from Michael McKracken, A local realtor. He said they had done several homes for him and did excellent work. This is a rental and I wanted to make sure I got the best price point. So I got three bids. Kern county roofing had the best pricing. Almost $1500 lower than the next closest bid. I set my expectations low since I was going with the cheapest bid. But I was pleasantly surprised. The subcontractor they used to tear off the roof was exceptional. They covered the pool they covered my plants they covered the walkways and they even went inside the tenants garage to cover those items that would be Dusty when they ripped off the roof. I didn't expect that. That was definitely a plus. Plus the roof looks great!

Kern Roofing just did a partial roof replacement in the back this summer. They did a great job, looks good. When they came out to look at the roof, they took the time to explain what exactly needed to be done, and then provided a written quote with the job detail step by step. They did the job in 3 days as they had estimated. thanks for your work!

Kern County Roofing came out to Ridgecrest to do a job through Sears Home Improvement. They're the only good thing Sears Home Improvement did for us, actually. Mike and Jonathan were great and their crew was awesome. Professional, clean, courteous, communicative and friendly. I even liked their choice of music. Michelle texted me when they were on their way and she let us know if there was anything we needed to be aware of throughout the process. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves every single day. All in all it was a great experience. I would highly recommend them!

Kern Co. Roofing did a horrible job on my roof. It is warped- you can see holes through the garage roof, they left a horrible mess each day. It took longer than stated, the crew was late and short handed and they also did a lot of property damage to my house. I have tried for four months to get this resolved and while Michael (the owner) is a smooth talker- the most he has offered is to paint the many damaged area's of my house where molding was knocked loose and thousands of nails protrude through my porch, patio and frame. I paid top dollar for this roof- $11,800. Almost 2,000 more than my neighbor whose roof looks a heck of a lot better! Michael was all assurance when it came to promises of a beautiful roof, but what I got instead was very shoddy work with a huge mess and property damage to boot. I believe because I am a single 58 year old woman, that he was counting on me not noticing how bad the job done really was...
Adding to this review: for the last 3 months I have tried to work with KCR to remedy the many problems. In the interim- no repair was done properly (just quick, cheap fixes, and lots of promises). Also, the rain started and my roof is leaking! They sent someone out to fix it. He was here 3 times and the problem was not better- it is WORSE! I now have damages to my living room ceiling, wall and behind the fireplace. This has been a nightmare that just keeps going. It first leaked on Christmas Eve- was supposedly fixed, and on New Years Eve the water in my wall doubled (there are pictures on my FB and photo files). I am now looking for help from the BBB and the licensing board, or a lawyer if there is no resolve. Save yourself a lot of money and heartache and don't use Kern County Roofing, Inc. BTW, the damages to my living room right now are almost $2,000.00 :(
