I had a leak on my metal roof. Brandon and Skylar showed up and said the leak was caused by the metal not having enough pitch and said that the low pitch area would need to be replaced with roll roofing. Brandon gave me an estimate of $2500. Several days later a crew of individuals showed up, of which none could speak English. They tore off the metal and replaced it with some crappie material that wasn't even stuck down in a number of places. When I got the bill it had suddenly become $3,000 instead of the stated $2500. First rain storm that happened after that, I not only had the original leak still there but had a new leak in the area they replaced with the roll roofing. I called them and Skylar came out and ran a water hose on the roof and found that the original lead had nothing to do with what they had originally stated. Said they would take care of it but they never did. Now I have a screwed up roof and am facing legal fees because I am having to sue them to get what I paid for. Stay away from these people!!!!

Beware bad business: They subcontract to fly by night crews and do horrible work with poor customer service. Didn't replace plywood, roof still leaked, and didn't stand by their work.

They were professional and friendly. Worked extremely quick and efficient. My roof looks better than I imagined it would look. Price was great. Even though they were busier due to the recent storm, you wouldn't know it due to the service we received. I highly recommend!

We were very pleased with this company. We had a big roof to replace and they got it finished in just over 2 days. They cleaned up every day and were respectful if we needed to speak to any of the workers. Would definitely recommend them!

We couldn't have asked for a better company!! We were just a week away from selling our property when it was brought to attention that the house needed a whole new roof. We called Kent Elliot and they were right on top of it immediately and even called in an extra crew to get it knocked out within two days and kept us on track for closing day. The staff was great, everything was cleaned back up perfect, and the new roof looked gorgeous!! We are so grateful!!

Be aware of this company!!!
I have had this company to replace my roof in June, 2016. Their work is very poor to crappie. The shingles did not look even so I called the project manager after few weeks asking why it does not look seamless. The guy called Bryce S. from company said it will stick over time so I took his word and moved on.
On January 19 or 20th 2019, we had small thunder storm in the area and I saw shingles were on my back yard and some on street. I noticed they were from my roof so I called the Kent Elliot on 1/21/2019 to report the incident since it was only about two and half to three years since they replace the roof and still under warranty. They said they would cover 5 year or something like that at that time. A lady name Beverly responded my call and told me that they will send their repair guy to inspect and repair next week Tuesday or Wednesday. But 2 weeks went by and no one showed up to repair or inspect. So I called again and again. Finally after a month or so, some one came and put some patch in the middle of February 2019.
Now in March 2019 again, there were small rain and wind on March 11 or 12, and I have lost 15 to 20 shingles from my roof. I called again on 3/13/2019 and again talk to lady name Beverly and reported the incident and stated my frustration with their work. She said she will send her roofing guy whenever the weather is clear and she will call me. Today is 3rd day after reported incident and weather has been clear last couple days but I did not get a call back from her so I called again to check the status. However, there was other lady picked up and she told me Beverly is not at work today and she does not know anything about my repair schedule so asked me to call back on Monday.
At this point I am beyond frustrated with this company so I do not want to deal with them anymore. These guys are pretty pathetic. Their work is crappie and very irresponsive. To my standard, these guys should not be in business anymore.
Hope any new home owner reads this before engaging these guys for roofing job in DFW are.

After so much rain, we had a leak on a rental property we owned. Kent Elliott can out and said we needed to replace both skylights and repair the roof around them. This was finally completed 4/30/18 at the cost of $795 to remove shingles around skylight; remove and replace rotted decking; replace 3-tab golden cedar composition shingles around base of skylight; remove broken skylight lens; reseal around base of skylight. I turned the property over the professional management in July and in November, they had Hartman Roofing make emergency repairs to the same area that cost $1,300. Hartman's informed me that the decking was rotted around the skylights and there was some patching which he almost fell through. Hartman did everything that Elliotts did and more. The only thing they didn't have to do was replace the skylight lens. I had no recourse since the RE company used a different company to make the final repairs. But I would never, never recommend Elliott roofing to anyone!

Kent Elliott roofing showed up at my house while I was gone without an appointment. That wouldn't have been that big of a problem except that I was told they would be back the next day. They didn't show, so I called. I was told they would be there the following week on Monday or Tuesday and that I would receive a call to confirm. No call, no show. I called another roofer to do the job.

I must say that Heather went above and beyond for Customer Service!!Chris McClenan and his helper came out within 24 hours and fixed my patio roof. They were Very Professional and got it done in a timely manner. Thank you Kent Elliott
