My husband and myself hired this Roofing company to replace a metal roof back on March 06,2020. Albert Pruitt a sales representative for Kent Elliott Roofing provided a quote that included Ridge Vents on this quote. I am currently having some interior work being done and the contractor noticed that there was a bird nest inside of the attic with baby birds. The contractor also noticed that the inside of the attic was lighted up and also notice a foam dangling from the interior of the roof. Kent Elliott Roofing installed a black foam called closure vent which is hold up by a tape. Well this company failed to inform us that the glue from this tape will disintegrate within time and will need to be replaced. I contacted Kent Elliott Roofing on April 17,2024 and spoke with Kevin Pruitt he informed me to contact the office in the morning and speak with Rebecca. The next day i contacted the office and spoke to Rebecca which was very rude and i informed her there was no need to be rude over the phone, i requested that she have the owner of Kent Elliott Roofing to come by my house as i was very upset with the material that was used on my roof. The owner came out to my house and i showed him the photos of this closure vent that they used and it had fallen out which this is how the birds were able to get into the attic and build a nest. He stated that he didn't see a nest up in the attic i informed him to get inside the attic and he will notice the nest and he can also hear the baby birds which he agreed there was a nest with baby birds. The owner then stated well ma'am it seems that the foam from the closure vent tape came apart and it needs to be replaced and this will happen about every 4 years. I informed him well my quote states that Ridge Vents were to be installed which tells me that your company didn't install the correct material. The owner stated I will do you a favor and go to the Ballinger office and the San Angelo office and see if we have enough closure vent and get it replaced. Again i stated that is NOT what the written quote states. He stated i will contact you once we can come over to correct the problem. Kent Elliott Roofing came by on May 12 without a phone call or anything, I was out of state and my daughter was working and on a phone meeting when the roofing employees came by. I contacted the owner and informed him why was i not notified that they were coming by and if they can reschedule when i am home, he stated that Rebecca was to have contacted me and notified me that they were coming out I stated no call was done and he stated they cannot reschedule. Well my contractor is till working and informed me that the staff of Kent Elliott Roofing left the birds nest and baby birds in the attic. This is INHUMANE. I sent a text on April 30,2024 and informed the owner of Kent Elliott Roofing that this was the last message i will be sending him. I informed him that his staff left the birds nest and baby birds in my attic and that was INHUMANE of this company. I also informed him that his company DOES NOT stand behind warranty nor workmanship. Is this the way Kent Elliott Roofing treats the Military Verterans by taking advantage of their hard earn money. He replied back stating he was in Sonora getting lunch and that he will get in contact with me next week. Well guess what NOT even a phone call, text or email. Please DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY OF YOUR ROOFING NEEDS THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY THEY GIVE OUT.

I had a leak on my metal roof. Brandon and Skylar showed up and said the leak was caused by the metal not having enough pitch and said that the low pitch area would need to be replaced with roll roofing. Brandon gave me an estimate of $2500. Several days later a crew of individuals showed up, of which none could speak English. They tore off the metal and replaced it with some crappie material that wasn't even stuck down in a number of places. When I got the bill it had suddenly become $3,000 instead of the stated $2500. First rain storm that happened after that, I not only had the original leak still there but had a new leak in the area they replaced with the roll roofing. I called them and Skylar came out and ran a water hose on the roof and found that the original lead had nothing to do with what they had originally stated. Said they would take care of it but they never did. Now I have a screwed up roof and am facing legal fees because I am having to sue them to get what I paid for. Stay away from these people!!!!

Beware bad business: They subcontract to fly by night crews and do horrible work with poor customer service. Didn't replace plywood, roof still leaked, and didn't stand by their work.

They were professional and friendly. Worked extremely quick and efficient. My roof looks better than I imagined it would look. Price was great. Even though they were busier due to the recent storm, you wouldn't know it due to the service we received. I highly recommend!

We were very pleased with this company. We had a big roof to replace and they got it finished in just over 2 days. They cleaned up every day and were respectful if we needed to speak to any of the workers. Would definitely recommend them!

We couldn't have asked for a better company!! We were just a week away from selling our property when it was brought to attention that the house needed a whole new roof. We called Kent Elliot and they were right on top of it immediately and even called in an extra crew to get it knocked out within two days and kept us on track for closing day. The staff was great, everything was cleaned back up perfect, and the new roof looked gorgeous!! We are so grateful!!
