Response to Kenstruction's comment: I no longer live in Richmond. Our HOA at our Richmond condo is excellent. This comment was made from Newbury Park and for some reason our HOA continues to use your incompetent company for work on our complex. I have owned here for almost 12 years and the work from your company has never been proper for us. It's all documented in emails with our HOA so I have no concerns with people not believing this review. We have emails dating back to a bad balcony job that was completed years ago and nothing has changed with your service. You can tell by your response that you are smug and have no problems providing poor customer service. I am sure if people could read your comment to me, they would see how you really people.

I had a concrete patio laid last June/July of 2015. The concrete showed noticeable cracking throughout the surface by early April of 2016. I called them and complained the reason the cracks have appeared is because the disturbed soil was not compacted nor was an sub base installed and compacted again. They were slow to get out to inspect the situation. It was finally agreed to remove the entire patio on their dime and to do the job right. All that was completed near mid June 2016. It is now nearing the end of July 2016 and still have no concrete patio, just an open area with rebar running through it. If you want a company that will give you great customer service...shop someplace else.

Kenstruction was the company that we chose for our roof remodel. We interviewed several companies before making our decision. Unfortunately, Ken talked a very good game. We explained exactly what we wanted and expected from him. He came back with a quote that was way over our budget with $10,000 in fees. We said our amount was 25,000 to pitch our roof. He said that he could make it happen. He said it would be done in 2 wks, 3 at the most. We obtained a loan from a company, he said that it wasn't financially in his best interest to accept the loan. We then got a personal loan. Paid him in full before the work was done, definitely a mistake. His company then dragged their feet. We went weeks without them even working on the house. Then when they did, it was different people each time. They never knew what we had initially agreed upon . Each time we had to explain. Then, we were told that they were putting 3 fans in our roof, which we wanted. They only put 3 pipe looking vents, no fans, no insulation, no attic access and they didn't even put our drain pipes/gutters back up. They left the exposed wood unprimed and unpainted. The stucco was also left unpainted. They walked on our patio roof and caused indentations. It was a horrible experience. Every time that we called their office it was as if we were a bother. They said that they were going to paint, but never did. They considered their project complete. I am disappointed in the finished product and will now have to pay other contractors to fix this mess. Our house has been extremely hot due to the lack of insulation and ventilation. Do NOT use this contractor.

We've had these guys paint our house and also several smaller projects. If you get Antonio as the head painter you will not be disappointed. He's got tons of experience and is a genuinely nice guy.
