Complete scam artist. Avoid.

Contacted to put up Christmas lights. Promised a certain price initially. Once we started talking specifics, the price ballooned to more than twice that amount, we stupidly agreed to it. We decided on the date, and that morning he said he was ""on his way"", he never showed up. This was after pocketing half of the cost. No call, no show, just promises of ""I'm on my way"". After contacting him during the day, he says ""I am on my way."" I guess he is still on his way 'til this day.

Luckily he is racking up 1 star reviews so people know to avoid contacting him. People like this make it hard to give new businesses a shot.

Told inspector I would consider after Ist of year. Said ok. In the meantime we talk about putting up Christmas lights. I supplied the lights for a small one story house. When we spoke about the lights it was about $150 to $200.00. He supplied the clips. I was at work and did not see estimate and told him I did not see. Kept asking what the cost was and he said he would be at my home when I got home. Did not get an hourly cost even though I kept asking. The cost that I paid was over $800.00 to put up the lights I supplied. I paid because the work was done. If I was even told remotely the cost I would have ended it. I have learned a valuable lesson on how a woman can be taken advantage of. I will never use Yelp again. The estimator knows he took advantage. Hopefully no one else will go through this. Very disappointed and offended.
