I comparison shopped when I needed my roof replaced. This company stood out and had a very competitive price. They scheduled my job in faster than it took me to comparison shop, were prompt and beat the rains. They also cleaned up extremely well afterwards and disposed of the old shingles. After discussing the job with some other contractors, I was getting concerned that some do not even listen or even check out the roof well before preparing an estimate. Kennedy Construction Group Listened, prepared a thorough estimate and exceeded my expectations.

I had an appointment today for a quote to get some reconstruction done on our roof, as well as a new roof altogether. The entire 2nd half of the day was planned around this appointment. It was only a couple minutes after the scheduled time but I thought I would call to see if there was an ETA so I could continue/adjust my plans for the evening. Upon answering, I was given the reasons that they had gotten busy that day and might be able to make it out later. Due to already made plans, that wouldn't work for me so we had to cancel altogether. If this company can't even remember when appointments are nor contact people to let them know there's an issue with the original schedule, I'm not sure we can trust them to fully complete a job in a timely manner. We choose to take our business elsewhere because of this.

I received 2 estimates for a roof leak. Bob Stephens of KCG came out to provide the estimate. He did not get on the roof or go into the attic & quoted $1,500 to repair the roof leak. The 1st contractor did go into the attic & onto the roof & quoted $3,000. I wanted to go with the more expensive quote but the home warranty would not cover it. After dealing with the warranty company I decided to go with KCG but the quote expired & I scheduled Bob to come back out. The scheduled time was 2-4p. At 4:05p I called to see when I could expect Bob. The receptionist stated that Bob was delayed at his previous stop & would call me in an hour to let me know when he would arrive. I said to cancel the whole repair. Bob immediately called & stated that KCG would honor the previous quote. I accepted the $1,500 quote & submitted this to the warranty company which was approved. After the repair was complete I checked the attic during a storm & the roof was leaking in the exact same spot prior to the repair. I called KCG & they stated that there are additional leaks that need repaired for additional cost. I complained that these additional leaks should have been included in the original quote (which I assume is what the other contractor's quote included & is why the quote was higher). I explained that the warranty company is very difficult & now I have to submit a claim for the same leak. KCG stated that they will help deal with the warranty company. So I scheduled someone to come out to provide a second quote to submit to the warranty company. The scheduled time was 9-11a. At 10:30a I called KCG to get an update on when I can expect the technician since I previously had an issue with timeliness. The receptionist said she would call the tech & call me back with an update. At 11:05a I did not hear back so I called KCG again. I was informed that the technician called out sick & that I need to reschedule the appointment. I complained that if I did not call about an update I would never have known that the tech was not coming & this is the 2nd time this has happened. KCG said that they cannot control when people get sick & that the roofing industry is busy & that people can't always be on time.

Wow! We just had a great experience with Kennedy Construction Group, LLC. From beginning to end, the salesman, the work crew, the scheduler and front office; the entire operation was professional and responsive. We had another project going on, window installers, and even that crew remarked how nice the roof looked and how efficient the crew was. We appreciate the roofing crew's dedication to completing the job as the rain interrupted them a few times over the three days they were here. They arrived early and stayed late and finished the job on time. I highly recommend Kennedy Construction Group, LLC for your roofing project.

Bob came to my home to evaluate my roof and was easy to contact and schedule with for the appointment. He did a thorough job inspecting and explaining the repair I needed. Job was completed quickly and efficiently.

Kennedy Construction Group came out promptly when I called them with a roof leak on my flat roof. They were able to give me an estimate and had a crew out to replace the roof within a week.

Chip St. Charles and Kennedy Construction Group must have been heaven sent! We are very pleased and satisfied with the work The Crew did on our new blue roof, my mother feels way more secure knowing her roof is stable and under warranty! We had our roof done and it looks fantastic. the staff was always very polite and they did a great job cleaning up during the job. We had to call them out after one heavy rain because of some rain coming into the back porch and they came right out and fixed the problem with out any questions. Love this company and I would recommend defiantly.

When we met with the salesman, he was very professional, explained to us about the whole process, explained the type of shingles we would be getting, the company who made the shingles, and about how they would provide the hurricane tie downs etc. to meet the specifications for the Wind Mitigation as well as the inspection certificate. This was very important as it would reduce our insurance by half. We went with this company because of the salesman. We told him we would be out of town and did not want the roof started until our return, giving him the dates.
In the middle of our trip as we were celebrating my mother's 96 birthday, our neighbor let us know that they had our roof halfway removed. After numerous phone calls and the oversight of our neighbor, the roof was left with the tarpaper on until we returned home. Upon our return, and in talking with the construction supervisor, nothing was to be included about the Wind Mitigation, which was our whole purpose on putting on the roof. After an intense meeting with the construction supervisor, he agreed to do the tie downs etc for the wind mitigation. We got a good roof. It is beautiful! but it is due to the good work of the crew and the construction supervisor.
Lesson learned, don't always trust salesmen. Get EVERYTHING spelled out.

They refused service to my mother in law due to the fact that she doesn't speak fluent English. Apparently it would've been too difficult for the crew when they were sent out there. The roof over her bathroom caved in today due to Tropical Storm Emily. She's in the middle of a real emergency, but because she speaks minimal English it would be too difficult for the crew going out there. Not only is this racist, but also discriminatory. Do not ever give this place your money.
