All, please be careful when working with Kennedy Roofing. They sent a flyer in the Riverstone community of Sugar Land to help get you free roof from the insurance company. Lane, Sales guy came and explained that they will install (Certainteed), good brand shingles, work with my insurance and request to signed a contract with assurity since they are a local Sugar Land based company. Lane even confirmed that I had a Replacement policy and not ACV (Actual Cash Value). 4 weeks later, my insurance company paid only 20% of the cost. Lane is now saying that he was told wrong that my policy was replacement cost. Secondly, I was supposed to pay 15% out of pocket and not Lane is saying I have to pay 80% out of pocket since he cannot offer the same discount (25%) as he offered earlier. This is a typical bate and switch since the claim has already been initiated with the insurance company and he is levering it. Please be careful working with Kennedy Roofing sales pitch.

I am giving this company zero stars. Terrible company. They come from out of town and prey on people in need after disasters. Over charge for work that is done and then will not honor a 2 year workmanship warranty that is included in purchase. I would not use this company even if you paid me to do so. Very dishonest company.

Kennedy Roofing is an outstanding company! They put our roof on and did a great job. The mortgage company had a problem endorsing the insurance check and Kennedy Roofing was wonderful to work with as we dealt with a difficult mortgage company and stuck with it until we got the problem with the mortgage company resolved. Then a year later it was discovered that the wind storm Inspector who had been hired by Kennedy Roofing had not filed his report correctly. Kennedy jumped back in quickly and had the inspector follow through. A very impressive company!

Bad attention! I was waiting by Daniel a long time to replace my roof and he doesn't care, I tried to communicate with him a couple of times and unfortunately he does not answer my calls. I definitely do not recommend it. Thanks for nothing.

After spending almost a week getting expensive estimates on a small roofing challenge, Easton with Kennedy Roofing & Exteriors came out inspected my roof and interior of the challenge spot and gave me a realistic quote and scheduled the job for the next day! He was clear and concise with his information regarding the repair, he sent me before and after pics, communicated clearly and showed me a picture of the company liability insurance so my mind would be at peace. The work looks clean! I'll definitely be recommending this company and using them for my roofing needs again! Thank you for keeping it real, your prices are unbeatable and your customer service superior.

I don't recommend this company to anyone. I still had problems with my roof afterwards due to the horrible job. From the pushy sales representative to the accounting/administration department. The ladies in the accounting department just lie to customer to get the customer off the phone. Horrible experience.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE DON'T GET SCAMMED

The only portion of the roof replacement job performed by Kennedy Roofing and Exteriors is getting you to sign an open value contract, getting an inflated claim amount approved by your insurance, ordering of substandard materials by an employee with no knowledge or training in roof replacement, scheduling a subcontractor to come out and destroy the good part of your roof, not replace the damaged parts of your roof, AND STEAL ALL CLAIM MONEY PLUS YOUR DEDUCTIBLE AND DEPRECIATION.

The sales tactic they use is ""they want to help you get a new roof and all it will cost you is 50% of your deductible."" In my case $2700. Surprise Surprise..... at the completion of the job $11000 after lawsuit $18000 not including what you have to spend on legal fees and repairs to fix the damage caused by their subcontractor rushing through the project. They ignore your requirements discussed during contract signing, then when the job is being done you contact them (since they have no one on the job site) repeating your requirements only to be ignored again, then when the job is done you point out new damages the subcontractor caused and repeat for the 5th or 6th time your requirements only to be ignored yet again, then they sue you for a job done not to your satisfaction.

Kennedy Roofing and Exteriors testified that the IBC, International Building Code does not apply to homes in Texas, that it is acceptable to mix attic ventilation system types, and the subcontract roofers do not require any instructions on installation of ridge vents. None of these statements are correct. The IBC does apply to homes in Texas, it is not acceptable to mix attic ventilation systems, and according to manufactures of roof ridge vents installation requirements vary by ridge vent manufacturers.

Kennedy Roofing and Exteriors lacks the qualifications to change roof ventilation systems and has no training or knowledge of building codes.

Kennedy Roofing and Exteriors refused to provide any information on the materials installed and had the subcontract roofers perform the work that should have taken 400 hours in less than 100 hours. The rushed installation resulted in damage to my roof deck and split 2 roof truss beams in my house. The cutting of the roof deck for ridge vent installation definitely has had reduced the strength of the structure on my house.

AMAZINGLY THE FORT BEND COUNTY COURT SYSTEM REQUIRES THIS CONSUMER TO PAY A ROOFING CONTRACTOR WHO DID NOT FIX WHAT YOU HIRED THEM TO FIX.

FOR THE PROTECTION OF YOUR PROPERTY FIND A DIFFERENT ROOFING CONTRACTOR.

The guys showed up at 7am and 32 degrees to replace the roof on my 3500sqf house. replacing a roof is messy and a big job. In 1.5 days they were gone, my property cleaned up and neet. The crew was polite and always moving.

From a front office point of view, they navigated the insurance process for me.
