Joe Kelly Sr. came to Naples in 1972 to create a family enterprise. His experience as a Journeyman Roofer from New York City set a high standard for quality in the roofing sector. As a family-owned company, we have evolved into the largest roofing contractor in Collier County, with a team of passionate family members and dedicated staff. In 2000, the company became a second-generation business with Ken Kelly as our current President. His innovative approach and technological advancements have fueled our family's commitment to progress. Growing up in the roofing business in Southwest Florida, Ken recognizes what it takes to install a premium roof system. Lori V.I hired Kelly Roofing to replace my roof. Since this was an insurance claim, I had to get a lot of paperwork completed before the insurance company would approve the payment needed to start the work.
They have an office person, Paola Reyes, that apparently does not like to return emails or phone calls. Long story short, the work is done but they owe me a refund for overpayment. It has now been over 2 weeks and I have called, emailed and written letters and no reply. The best part is since the increase in work due to hurricane Irma, they are not answering phones!
When business slows and the industry is hungry for work, lets see if here are better are answering the phones and emails.
I may never see the money they OWE me!
Kelly Roofing replaced all of the flat roofs in our condo complex a year and a half ago, and we have had problems with leaks ever since. Their ""repairs"" over the past year and a half have not eliminated the leaks, and now with all of the work generated by Irma, our warranty work is on the back burner. We have to wait 10 weeks for an appointment, and they will not even come out to tarp the problem areas to prevent further damage. Run away!
Contacted them 9/22/17 for my home in Naples, FL. They came 10/2/17 to do a roof inspection and give me an estimate. I was told that I would receive the inspection report ($185) and quote by email right away. Then nothing happened. No report. No quote. Couldn't reach them by phone. Couldn't reach them by email (canned email saying they weren't responding...). Finally, got to them on facebook. Was told that they missed my appointment and had to reschedule it to the next week. Understanding that they were at my house already. They eventually found my pictures, apologized and told me that I would get my inspection report and quote by this weekend. Still nothing. I made the mistake of not finding more reviews online about their lack of response. My neighbor called at the same time and was told they couldn't get to inspect her place until November. We are looking elsewhere. I do not recommend this business. Lack of communications, the right hand doesn't seem to know what the left hand is doing.
Had Kelly Roofing come out in May for a roof leak in livingroom and lanai was told sheathing and tiles would be replaced upsold me on redoing Valley at front of house which had no problem. Ceiling in lanai fell in last week after a heavy rain storm revealing rotted plywood and obviously never replaced. Nothing to do with hurricane. Have called and emailed numerous times with no return call. I am now forced to get legal representation.
Not at all impressed with this company. I had an appointment that I made three weeks out before the hurricane. Of course hurricane made my roof worse and was hopeful that because I already had an appointment that they would honor it. They did not and told me they were taking care of disasters first........I found it disasterous to have water pouring into my home. Luckily I had another company that stuck to their appointment and came out. I would not recommend anyone to use Kelly Roofing.

They were there on time to fix leaks in the roof we are very happy with Kelly Roofing and yet so we were hired them again. The people are nice they are prompt and ready to work they take good care of their your home just as they would care for theirs very well

After the storm I went online and requested an appointment for an estimate with Kelly roofing. I received a response with a confirmation date of 9/27- no one showed- I called an left a message and of course no one answered. I certainly understand that the roofing contractors in Naples are busy, but to get a appointment confirmation that was submitted after the storm and have no one show up or call to apologize is just poor customer service.
Just today I received a subsequent email to confirm a new appointment date of 10/25. No phone call- just a generic email that almost appears to be system generated. Very unimpressive...
I know right after a hurricane everybody is busy. I had roof damage and I called Kelly Roofing. They don't answer phones now. They demanded a credit card number and said the charge would be for a replacement estimate and emergency repair. I was supposed to receive a confirmation email I never received one. They said if I had any questions to call or email. As I said they don't answer phones now nor do they respond to emails.
Matthew D.Kelly did repairs on my roof right before i closed on the purchase of my new home. Since June 5, 2017, I have been trying to get them to fix the damaged gutters from their ladders for 4 months now. It took them a week to respond to my message. They don't answer their phones and it takes a few days to return phone calls. What is crazy is my realtor said they have a great reputation but i haven't seen it. They have had a crew out here 5 times over 4 months and still have yet to correctly seal between my gutter and the splash guard. They have fixed 2 of the three damaged areas. They must be slammed with new business for them to run it like this and still be in business. The owner or at least the person who manages the yelp page usually takes time to publicaly respond to my yelp complaint and claim the rain is the issue with the schedule. They should call me and get someone that can fix the issues. Now they have had 5 attempts without rain and still not fixed? Look in the ""pictures"" section and you will see my home with the ladder leaning against the gutter and another with a closeup of the gutter leaking. Call the phone number for Kelly and if they don't have the time to answer they probably won't take the time to fix things they do wrong just like in my situation.

Do not use this company. The company sales team will tell you any lie they believe will get you to sign a contract. Then the work crew will do whatever they think is the easiest and fastest way to ""complete"" the job. Quality of workmanship doesn't matter to them. When you question them about what is going on, all of a sudden, their comprehension of English becomes very poor. Avoid this scam company at all costs.
