John is no joke. He's old school .. and I WILL TAKE IT! someone in the business of doing roofs for 30 plus years is all i need. I've had John out 2x for minor repairs, but when the Fontana wind practically blew our roof off, John was the one who answered our call. His works is great, he's professional, on time and the nicest guy. I really hope I never have to do business with him again .. lol thanks John for fixing us up!

I recently contacted Jon Keller regarding a leak in my garage. Jon came out the same the day, found the leak and provided me a reasonable quote. Due to the recent Covid-19 work restrictions, Jon was able to schedule me in as soon as possible. Jon took appropriate precautionary measures and his work was professionally done. He not only repaired the leak but he also did a thorough maintenance on my roof that included replacing broken tiles, blowing debris from the roof, checked every single one of my rake tiles-hammering in nails that had worked loose and sealed areas where it was needed.

Overall, i feel Jon and his roofing partner did a excellent professional job for what I paid for. I'm very happy and satisfied with the work that was done to my roof. I highly recommend Keller Roofing.

I really can't say enough about Jon, the man is honest, knows his profession, and makes a stressful situation like a leaking roof much easier to deal with. I discovered a leak during the numerous rain storms California received in 2019. I found Keller Roof on Yelp among four other roof repair companies which were all rated highly in the area. I called for quotes and discovered that I was not alone in my predicament and that roof repair had a list 3 months long with everyone I spoke to. Jon was the last of the four companies I spoke with for a quote and he was able to provide me a competitive price, background information, and not leave me feeling like I should expect hidden costs upon completion.
The thing that really impressed me about Jon, that stands out in my experience with dealing with other businesses in general; is that:
1. He came out to inspect the roof while he was sick just so he could provide a potential customer a speedy solution to a leaking roof.
2. On the day of the inspection, we ended up talking for a bit about a few things not directly related to my roof nor a profit; but I could tell he was honestly engaged. Just one human being offering advice to another.
3. He had a lot of other upcoming jobs and so the wait list was a few months out. Although it rained almost daily and I was in a hurry to get the roof fixed ASAP; I never called to pressure him since I knew he would get to me as soon as he could. He managed to squeeze me in a few weeks earlier than anticipated!!
4. Unfortunately the day he was scheduled to come out, we had some very high winds - just my luck. John was kind enough to call me early and ask if it would be ok to reschedule for the next day... to my astonishment he was asking, and not telling!! He was willing to sacrifice his safety under adverse weather conditions just to keep his word... WOW!! Of course I easily agreed but it really speaks loudly to the type of person he is!
5. Lastly, he finished all the repairs within a single day, and managed to include extra square footage of repairs at no additional cost... he just did it since he was already up there and wanted to help out a customer!
I waited a few weeks before writing the review to see if I would discover any leaks but I am happy to say that Jon's work is top notch, and everything is back to be dry inside! I can honestly say that Jon has a new life long customer for any new repairs that I may need as the rest of the roof ages.
Jon and Keller Roof Co. have earned a perfect score as far as I'm concerned!!

I'm kind of cheating in writing this review, because I've had the advantage of a few satisfied neighbors who have used Jon Keller to remove all their concrete tile and re-paper their roofs.

I want to start by saying I have learned the hard way to do my research before laying out hundreds--or thousands of Dollars. Jon Keller is the best there is--Bar None...

We own a two-story home with a very steeply pitched roof. The last winds threw a broken tile off the roof. I decided to assess for additional damage and found a couple more broken tiles, some that slipped, and dry rot in an outer corner. It had been repaired by a handyman a few years ago.

The handyman I had hired only replaced a couple feet of facia in each direction which meant that the spliced boards now gave little support for the weight of the concrete tiles--resulting in a bad droop and the return of dry rot. This time, I was determined to hire a proper roofer to do my repairs, so I called Jon Keller.

Attention to details:

Jon used some of the best quality lumber I have seen in a very long time. I pre-painted the wood before having him install it--much easier than painting overhead after install, and it wraps all end-grain.

As it turned out, I had 13 broken tiles and a couple of rake-tiles missing. Every time I've talked to a roofer about replacing tile on my 32 year old house, they warned me that they could not get the same tile--not made anymore. Jon has hundreds of my exact tiles (Gray Super-shake) in stock--he has them in brown as well.

I watched as Jon carefully removed quite a bit of tile, the old spliced facia boards and shiplap underlayment boards. He thoroughly cleaned the areas to be repaired by blowing off all the dirt and debris buildup before beginning to re-install the facia and tiles.

Jon replaced 20 feet of facia with 1""by 3"" cleat to repair my drooping corner and several shiplap pieces. He carefully removed the old boards at previously spliced areas without damaging the wood that had to remain in place. He replaced all the wood, slid new paper under the old, sealed where necessary and was very meticulous in making sure the roofline and corner were perfectly straight.

Jon and his roofing partner walked my entire roof, replacing broken tiles and blowing all the pine needles and debris off the roof that had built up over a few years. They sealed and painted all the pipes, corrected the runoff of a poorly placed rain gutter, and to my amazement, Jon checked every single one of my rake tiles--hammering in nails that had worked loose. I felt he had done quite a lot of work for the $900.00 I spent tuning up my roof.

Jon Keller is a licensed professional with decades of experience. He started exactly when he said, worked hard and finished the same day. I will call him for all my roofing needs from now on.
