I want to start off by saying this company put a roof on one of our three houses in the bear creek subdivision about two years ago. the roof was great and the company treated us right however last week we called to have them come give a quote on our roof that had major leaking after hurricane Harvey. I called them on a Monday at 12:30 and was told they would call back in an hour to schedule a time for a roofer to come. 22 hours later we got a call back and was told they couldn't come till next Monday and said they could be there between 12 and 1. at 1:05 I called wondering where they were because nobody has shown up yet and we had to take off work to be there. the guy told me they would send somebody over ASAP. then he texts me and informed me that the guy who scheduled our appointment put down 3:30 not 12-1. I was upset because if the guy told me that I wouldn't have had to miss work... then he told me they could reschedule for another day. I told him if they could be there 3:30 then that would be fine and so we waited. then at 3:20 he texts me back saying they will have to reschedule because he will now be in a meeting till 5.... I told him no thank you. we will go with a different company and I was unaware that he was the only employee that worked for Katy roofing.... a new roof runs around 10,000 and we have two roofs that need to be replaced... basically they just threw away a 20,000 dollar job. the only reason they are getting two stars and not one is because of the excellent job they've done two years ago. I referred everyone in the area that needed a roof to them for the past two years but after the way we were given the run around this go around we will most definitely not be doing any business with them again
