My wife and I had just eaten dinner on Sunday night and it started to rain. About 15 minutes later water was dripping off the ceiling in our breakfast area at a pretty high rate. I called Katy Roof Leak repair after seeing some good reviews online. I asked if they could call me on Monday and we set up some buckets to catch the leaks.

I was pleasantly surprised when Paul called me Monday morning at 8:05 am and said he could be at my place by 10 am. By 1015 he had gone up on my roof, found the issue and took pictures to show me the problems. He also found some other minor issues and told me he could do a temporary fix to stop the leak and wrote me a quote for the work while he was here.

I agreed to the quote and he said he would call when the weather was better as they don't work in the rain. Monday night he calls and says the weather for Tuesday morning looks Ok and he would like to come fix it then. By noon on Tuesday the work was complete.

From initial problem discovered to about a day and a half later my problem is gone. Couldn't be happier. Very professional and a nice guy on top of that. Highly recommend these folks.

Update: I've been calling this company twice a week since my last review. No response. The roof hasn't been repaired and a leak has been discovered in the same position Paul was supposed to have ""fixed"" in the half-completed job.

I rarely post unfavorable reviews, but for anyone out there looking to use this company, DON'T. They just took the whole payment upfront and disappeared without a trace.

The wife called after we noticed some leakage coming into the garage, not sure who she spoke with but they were pleasant to deal with and she was told someone would be out in a hour or so to take a look. Sure enough someone was out about a hour later took some pictures of some issues we had thanks to DR Horton's cheap ass contractors (house is 3 years old) had some leaking around a couple vents and some wood rot that would need replaced and several places were the builder failed to correctly apply some caulk or sealant or whatever. The price sounded ok for roof work so we set it up and she was told someone would be out the next day unless they could get to it that day. The next day (today as I type this) toward the end of lunch The wife was getting concerned since we had not heard anything so I called the number and left a message for Paul (it was apparently his number) and got a text back (I asked for text if possible since I can't be picking up the phone all willy nilly at work) about 15 minutes or so later and told me we were the next job and he would holler when on the way which he did. Everything went smooth and this evening he let me know he would be back tomorrow to check on the work and make sure everything is holding up. I wasn't expecting that so I was pleased to hear that. All in all we are pleased with Paul and Katy Roof Leak Repair, and will call him again next time we have an issue too small for our home warranty to cover.

Great company to deal with. William Reynolds came to my house same day and quickly spotted the cause of my roof leak - calked and reset my fireplace exhaust pipe. No charge either. That kind of goodwill is rare these days. I'd happily recommend these guys to help with all kinds of around the house projects - and I'll be calling them out for other things when needed!

Paul and William are very nice people. They provides professional reasonable price service. They don't leave until the problem is entirely solved. Beyond that they take care every part of our roof, give a good maintenance to the house. All the nails on the roof had been sealed, and even includes the little holes on the walls. I will recommend them to my friends.
