Born in Sacramento in 1953, I now call Roseville, CA home, having lived here since 1989.
I have a wife and two sons, who are both married and reside in Roseville as well.
My wife, Sharon, and I have celebrated over 38 years of marriage.
I entered the roofing industry after a year at Sac State, now CSUS, joining my uncle, a roofing contractor.
After two years there, I worked for several other companies, depending on who had the most projects.
I started with residential roofing and later moved into commercial roofing, eventually becoming a foreman for a large company in Sacramento.
As work became scarce in the early eighties, I took the contractor exam and established my own roofing business.
Aside from a seven-year partnership that ended in the early nineties, I have operated as a sole proprietor since.
Even with my years of experience, I am still on a journey of learning.
