We had the most amazing customer service with Kapili Roofing! Braedan kept us informed throughout our job which took longer than expected due to supply chain issues. Noel and his crew were top notch! Noel was meticulous and hard working and he also watched over his crew to make sure they also did an excellent job. The crew was always polite and always spent time to do a great job cleaning up at the end of each day. Our new tiled roof is beautiful - our neighbors have stopped to admire it. Now hate that the solar panels are now going to cover up most of the tile :)

Back in January there was a big rain and discovered we had a roof leak and Kapilli was the only company that came who was available to secure the leak. Fast forward a few months they were able to install my roof by early March.

I worked with Braedan and he sent out Keone and his crew did an absolutely incredible job on the installation. They added quite a bit of custom work to improve my roof and make it water tight and perform well. Hats off to these hard working roofers like Keone and his guys true professionals and craftsman in their trade.

There was not one thing that Kapilli wasn't willing to accommodate, they've said YES to everything I asked including the guys working on the roof. The ability of the business to coordinate all the work amongst themselves and sub contractors is great and not to mention the ability to charge the work on credit card!!! Who does that anymore!!! It's a no brainer for most and you back it all up with actions of your team and it shows. How can you not go with Kapilli when others can't deliver good pricing, benefits, warranty and customer service you do.

In the end, I feel confident that Kapilli will always have my back anytime during the installation and the lifespan of the roof. That's what is most important and you provided that assurance.

Brennan, with all due respect, I understand your company put safety first. This was a 3-day project and unfortunately, at the end of the second work day, your employees failed to clean up and I happened to step on a sharp object. The other tenants on the property informed me that your General Foreman (GF) came to apologize the next day but I was not at home and he told them he took full accountability for not informing his workers they needed to clean up at the end of each day. Your GF did mentioned he didn't know anyone was living in the back of the property but there were other tenants living on the property. At the end of it all, I do accept your GF apology and all is good.

Oahu Home owners! If your home or rental home is in need of a complete new re-roof and needs rafter, sheeting and other woodwork done, then Kapili Roofing is who you need to call to get it done. We got estimates to do ours from 7 of the top 10 listed roofing companies and based on the thorough estimate that Cody did gave us on the initial inspection we decided to go with them and we are so glad we did. He told us of the obvious woodwork that was needed and also let us know of the possible additional work that might be needed (he was spot-on with that) prior to the actual new roofing being laid out in the original estimate and their pricing though not the cheapest but because of the thoroughness of the inspection and what we felt was the honest condition of the woodwork under the shingles we went ahead and chose them to do our home. A complete re-roof job is a sizeable investment for any homeowner and all we can say is that we got the best value for our money by far. The crew was punctual everyday, kept us in the loop of what needed to be replaced as they were doing the tear-off and the replacement shiplap, rafters and fascia work was excellent and didn't leave each day until every last piece of demo was picked up and hauled away. The job included besides the woodwork ridge vents and daily emails with tons of pics of each days work. We thought the additional woodwork was gonna be a huge additional cost for the amount of shiplap that was rotted but it was super reasonable which made us so happy. We can tell you from our experience that if you are like us and looking to get honest, quality roofwork done at a fair price then Kapili Roofing is the only place to call. We are so happy with the work they did we are also going to have their paint division come and do the exterior of our home as well. They really do provide piece of mind-one roof at a time. After the work is completed they have a quality control guy come out with a drone (he spent about 2 hours) to take aerial pics of every angle of the finished roof which gets reviewed by Braeden to make sure everything was done right and those pics are included in the work file they send you after completion. You know the company is solid when there are 3 generations (father, son and grandson) of a family doing the work on your home. Can't say enough about the crew-nice friendly guys who work well together and little or no conversation outside of their 10 minute morning meeting to go over what is being done for the day. After that its just nailers, hammers and saws going all day. A big Mahalo to everyone at Kapili Roofing for the outstanding quality of work, very fair pricing and communication and transparency throughout our project. We couldn't be happier and you will be too by giving them a call.

Kapili Roofing did a great job with our silicone roof coating. The roofing Foreman - Kau and his crew did an excellent job, they left the job site neat and clean everyday. At the end of each day the next step was explained so we would know what to expect on the following visit.

McKenna in accounting answered all of my questions when the job was completed.

I would recommend this company to my friends and family for the excellent workmanship and great customer service.

Very satisfied with the work of Kapili Roofing & Painting. I had a roof leak and they sent an inspector out quickly. He did a thorough assessment, gave options of how to fix the problem, and did a temporary patch so that I would not have to worry about all the heavy rain coming down. They worked with Solar Tech to take down, upgrade, and then schedule reinstallment of solar PV, and the roofing guys did a great job. They sent so many guys over that the roof fix took a very short time. Now I'm waiting for the solar part but am very confident so far in the work that both companies have done. Mahalo!

Following my initial Yelp review, the representative called and explained the mix-up, apologized profusely and wanted to make things right. We set up another appointment. John showed up on time, was extremely professional and courteous during our visit. Cheerful and friendly.

After taking needed measurements and photos of the property, he ran down to the office and prepared the quote. He offered to answer any questions we might have at any time.

Everyone makes mistakes, and some don't bother to make amends. It is obvious this business cares about it's customers and reputation. I am quite pleased about how this issue was addressed.

I chose Kapili Roofing because they had good reviews in Yelp, Google and Hawaii BBB. Overall quality of the work appears to be good but the coordination and communication were horrible!

After waiting more than a month, I was contacted 2 days before the roofing job was to start and told that the tile color I had selected was not available due to shipping problems. Why wasn't I told before this?? Don't know.

A month later the roofing job started. HOWEVER, I realized after the reroofing was half completed that the WRONG color tile was being installed. So after being already delayed once, they were now installing the wrong color tile!

Got on the phone with a company manager. They apologized and offered to tear off wrong tiles and redo with the right tile, or give us a discount which we ended up doing. But we are still unhappy because we didn't want to go thru reroofing, but we did not end up with the color we had selected.

I'd give 2.5 stars if possible because the interior paint job was 5 stars, but the customer service has been 1 star. Eric came out on 5/28 to do an estimate for both interior and exterior painting; he was very nice and professional. I received both estimates from him the same day.
On 5/29 I replied that I was moving forward with interior painting for now, though I didn't sign the estimate until 6/1. A week later they hadn't yet contacted me to schedule a date. I emailed maybe 3 times and called once (which went to voicemail) without a single reply. My last email to them was on 6/29 before I just gave up.
They finally emailed me on 7/8 for scheduling.... except the date field in the body of the email was blank. I replied to point this out but again, I did not hear back from anyone. Someone called me on the evening of 7/20 to say they would be showing up the next day around 8am. I'm still working from home so that wasn't a big deal. Except the workers showed up ready to paint the exterior! They had to call their office to figure out what was going on; eventually they said they had to return the next day which was OK. I'm glad I also mentioned to them hat I had never picked a color, which was surprising to them, but I was able to do that on the spot (now I wonder what paint colors they showed up with for the exterior since I never even looked into that lol).
Anyway, the workers were professional, tidy, very friendly, and everything looked great. They emailed me the invoice today, 8/3, for *exterior* painting!! I emailed Accounts Receivable to ask for an amended invoice but I'm just wondering how long that will take.

I was waiting for my husband to return from his summer work on the mainland so we could discuss a new color for the exterior but I just don't think we will be going with Kapili for that.
