All their employees were very professional and did the work in a timely manner. They were skilled and did a wonderful job repairing my roof. They made sure to listen to me as a client and valued my input. I would highly recommend this roofing  company

The short of it - estimate ridiculously high, went with another company with great results and MUCH better price.

Kanga was very responsive after being contacted regarding claim for roof replacement. The sales rep (roofing advisor) was on time for scheduled inspection and review. He spent time going over Kanga's commitment to quality stressing need to be aware of product quality and installation crew quality. He left me with their ironclad low investment guarantee and would have estimate to me by end of day. I did receive multiple estimates for different options at different price levels within hours of his visit. And this is where the 1-star review begins and ends. All the estimates were grossly inflated for each of the options provided. I could only guess they didn't need my business, but if I were stupid enough to choose them, they would be more than happy to take it at such a high price. Kanga is super communicative and friendly upfront and seem to use that approach to get you to sign. But obviuosly, that wasn't going to happen as there were other companies I was getting quotes from. Kanga just happened to be the first and stopped my heart with their estimates. Fortunately, the other GAF master elite and highly reputable companies ALL had much lower estimates using GAF lifetime limited warranty materials and providing labor guarantee. Needless to say, I used a different company than Kanga. Three days after I signed, I had a new roof at a highly competitive price which matched the estimate. The materials were high quality and the install crew was impressive. Goes to show Kanga that you can get good quality at a good price without any hassle. Kanga either had more business than they needed and therefore gave a ridiculous estimate to me or that is their marketing strategy - give estimate with ironclad investment guarantee and sometimes a customer is suckered into paying way too much or Kanga bargains downward, but not all the way stressing their quality. In either case, not a company I'm interested in doing business with. Just give a competitive estimate upfront, no games with ironclad I nvestment guarantee.

Neighbor used Kanga Roof and got a beautiful RED roof, I call the Kanga Rep and Told him 3 times standing in front of the house and 3 times during contract that was the color I ordered. I questioned the paperwork that had WW on it? But the rep Andrew V., assured me it was correct. I get home to see a GRAY roof on my red brick house???? I only used Kanga for that exact roof! They now tell me that means 'Weathered Wood??', It should mean Whatever We want!
I was offered 10% off the last half the bill for a Bait and Switch job!
Of course they never came through with the discounted funds either!
I now come home to a $21k roof I paid for, but never got!
Beware of this

The staff stopped communicating with us when we paid our deposit. I went weeks without an update. Phone calls and emails never returned. Our account sat on someones desk for 5 weeks before they bothered to send it to our insurance company, and that was after repeated calls. In all, it was 12 weeks from deposit to installation. In the end, the proved to be so unscrupulous we had to go to another roofing company to finish the job. I would never recommend them to anyone and I would stay away from anyone associated with KangaRoof.

I love Yelp, but I am **deeply** suspicious of the positive reviews of this company. They are so unbelievably shady and slimy, I cannot believe that anyone would use them let alone recommend them. Please read this and avoid this company like the plague.

I called Kanga Roof after hearing a radio ad and asked for a roof inspection. A tech named Mikey came out a day or two later. He was on time. So far so good. My partner was home and let him in. He went around the attic, climbed around the roof, allegedly inspected the roof, and then left.

Then I heard literally nothing. No call back; no follow up; no nothing. A day or two later, the sales manager texted to get feedback. I said, ""we received no report or anything from Mikey."" Again, they did not respond at all. Just crickets.

Fast forward a few weeks, I was thinking about the roof and I decided to call them. If they can't follow up with me, I thought, I suppose I can follow up with them. Got the sales manager, Toby. He wasn't sure what Mikey's notes meant, said something about ""hail damage"" (which was the first I'd heard about that), and then said something about needing to call Mikey. He said someone would call me back within the hour.

Within the hour, Mikey called. He said that he wanted to do a ""roof tuneup"". I said, ""what's that."" He explained it's basically sealing the flashings and making sure the roof nails are flush. I said, ""how much is that."" He said, ""oh it's very reasonable, $100 or $200."" After everything I'd been through with these guys, I should've said ""no."" But I said, ""oh well, let's give that a try."" Then Mikey walked back to his truck to get me booked for a tuneup. But while he was walking back to the truck, the price went from $100-200 all the way up to $705. I said, ""no thank you bye.""

These guys are absolutely awful. Terrible customer service. Terrible communication. Terrible bait-and-switch pricing. STEER CLEAR!

OUTSTANDING AMERICAN BUSINESS! My wife and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. We now have the best-looking roof in the neighborhood! You get what you pay for and Kanga Roof's customer service is unparalleled!

Our HOA President recommended Kanga Roof after delays with another company. Everyone on the team was professional and highly responsive. Matt and Taylor were patient and enthusiastically answered all our questions leading up to the installation. Brandon (Superintendant) arrived early and stayed late until the job was complete. Sonya and Rafiel lead a talented install team that finished in ONE day! They brought an experienced crew that worked from sun up to sundown, pausing briefly for rain safety, then back to it without issue. A truly impressive bunch.

We highly recommend Kanga Roof!

Worse roofing company I have ever encountered. If you see their rep - run. They quote one price - send a paid in full invoice and then tack on additional charges expecting the customer to pony up more money. They bully the customer after providing substandard customer service. If you finance their services, they will first quote the job under the approved amount and then make sure to meet or exceed your maximum amount.

Again - Run. Do not do business with them.

Professional, courteous and reasonable. The job was done in a timely manner, the workmen were respectful and there was no mess to clean up. Good communication from De' Andre Price, the Superintendent, the whole project was completed on time & efficiently. Overall, an excellent and outstanding experience. I highly recommend this roofing company.

Looking out an upstairs window last week, we saw a piece of a shingle wedged in the gutter. Our roof is 15 years old, so we assumed the worst. After another reputable roofing company told us it would be 4-6 weeks for an inspection, Kanga Roof sent someone out in just a few days. Do we need a new roof? Apparently not. The inspector said the roof was showing some wear but that we don't need a new one yet and there were no missing shingles. He suggested some maintenance work around vents, but was not the least bit pushy. I can't speak to whether the company does quality work on time, etc. But I appreciate their honesty and when I do need a new roof they will be first on my list to call.

BEWARE of using this company. Like many other homeowners my home was subject to the hailstorm damage in May. I thought that I'd go with KR since they spend a lot of money on marketing. It's taken until just recently to finally complete the roof and gutters. They are quick to close on the deal and since it's an insurance claim, the insurance cuts the check for the work. But then it becomes a very painful experience. There was constant delays in starting the roofing project and zero communication from KR on progress and status. I had to constantly call them and never had a good single point of contact. They used every excuse (supply chain, lack of resources, too many projects in flight) but ultimately they got to my project when they got to it. In fact one week before they finally committed a date to start, I was contacted and asked to move the date again. Unacceptable. Other roofing companies in my neighborhood had projects starting after mine did and finished well before KR did. Although a roof replacement is probably a once in home lifecycle experience, and remember you have a choice. I cannot ever recommend KR as a company to you.
