Kevin was recommended by more than a few of my neighbors, when we needed some maintenance of our roof. He came by, we did a thorough survey of the roof, with lots of pictures, and he explained what would be best to be done. He provided a very thorough written bid, and they were able to start work very quickly after that.

His crew did a great job fixing up our flat roof (small holes, flashings, etc.), and applied several layers of sealing paint that they let dry inbetween layers over the course of a few days. They took tons of pictures, and once done, Kevin provided us with a great summary of the work. And all that at a reasonable price.

I can fully recommend K Reed, and will have him back for our future roofing needs.

I REALLY wanted to pay K Reed Roofing to do our roof repairs. Kevin came by on time and was ver professional in giving us his opinion on fixing a skylight and deck leak. He was friendly and I immediately felt comfortable - like i could trust him. He left saying he'd get me a quote via e-mail within 2-3 days. Two weeks past and I didn't hear anything from him. I called the company and his receptionist (his mother who is LOVELY) apologized and mentioned they had been very busy -she would let Kevin know I called and expected he would get right back to me. A week later I still hadn't heard back so I contacted another company for a quote (we needed these leaks fixed!!) The day after I contacted the other company, Kevin e-mailed me and apologized for the delay. He asked if I'd still like the quote but stated he understood if I'd prefer to go with another company. I told him I was expecting a quote from another company, but would still like his quote - I told him I really wanted to do business with his company. He never got back to me -- I was so disappointed!

If you can get these guys to follow-through, I'm sure they are a great company to work with.

I called a few roofers I found on Yelp and was lucky enough to find Kevin. Professional, explained everything, upfront, AND a neighbor. Total win for me. I just bought my house and knew the roof wasn't in the greatest condition. Kevin's crew came in and did a thorough cleaning and enough repairs to get me through the rest of this winter. We will look at planning a new roof towards summer.

When Kevin came over to look at some water damage I was noticing, we talked about professionalism and how it seems to be lacking in service organizations these days. K Reed Roofing is what you want in a service partner - responsive, providing detailed information, including pictures, personal consultations, excellent cleanup and respect for your property.

Unfortunately, I can't speak for the quality of their work, since I ended up with another company (strictly a ""my ceiling is leaking, someone needs to come out NOW"" circumstance). However, I give them 4 stars just for the fact they still called me back when they could (every company was slammed that week, so it wasn't right away). Very impressive and hope they continue to flourish because they do care about the customer, paying or not!

K Reed roofing was hired to clean the gutters of the condominium community that I live in. Due to the nature of the trees in our complex (we have a variety of heritage trees) the majority of the homes do not have full gutters by the rainy season (December). However my home does, as do a handful of others. On the night of a severe weather advisory I called Kevin and expressed my concern over the condos with jampacked gutters and the fact that our property manager scheduled our gutter cleaning so late in the season. Many of us are afraid that the severe rainstorm predicted for tonight will overflow our gutters and flood into our homes.

At 5 o'clock on a Wednesday night, Kevin came out with one of his employees and personally cleaned my gutters in the dark. I can now sleep soundly knowing that full gutters will not cause my home to flood. I truly appreciate Kevin showing concern and care for the safety of my home.

Kevin and his crew made the whole re-roofing experience painless. They have a great work ethic and integrity. Easy to deal with, show up on time, do exactly what they say after answering all questions. I learned of them when they did my realtor neighbor's roof. After they did our house, they also did another neighbor's house. Everyone had a great experience. Then a colleague at work enthused about them. She had them do her roof which had a large flat part that had failed after only 5 years when another company had redone it. She was thrilled with the job of K Reed Roofers. We were, too. As a small business owner myself, I look to use other family owned businesses when I can. I found Kevin on Yelp and figured I'd give him a try. I was not disappointed. Kevin met me at the commercial building I manage and was very professional, courteous and prompt...not something you expect from a roofing company. We decided to use K Reed Roofing for our repair and maintenance and they proved to be an excellent choice. Kevin stayed in touch with me via email and telephone, and even included digital pictures of the work as it was being done so that we could see every step. The repairs were done quickly and thoroughly, by trusted long-term employees and family members. This is NOT a fly-by-night outfit hiring whoever is hanging around looking for work.

I highly recommend K Reed Roofing and plan on using their services as our preferred provider. Even better that they're a locally owned family operated business.

Kevin Reed and his crew are professional and a breath of fresh air. They re-shingled part of my roof, sealed my chimney, inspected and cleaned my gutters, and put new aluminum sheeting on my patio. They did a fabulous job and they cleaned everything up. l am so pleased. I couldn't have found more honest or nicer people. I will refer Kevin Reed Roofing to anybody I know who has roofing issues.
