K Reed Roofing does excellent work. They replaced the gutters on our condo which in terrible condition. The gutters were deteriorating and had huge holes in them which was a huge hazard. Now they look great and I feel a lot safer walking up and down the stairs on those rainy days knowing that mounds of water will not reroute away from the stairs. I will say that I commend K Reed Roofing for their excellent customer service! When I finally got looped into an email with Kevin, I received frequent and direct updates from him throughout the process. Thank you Kevin!

Got estimates from multiple contractors and went with K Reed due to their responsiveness and attention to detail in the quoting process. They were not the cheapest quote but I am so happy with the work they did. Our roof is steep and has ""a lot of little details"" (according to one member of the crew) and they were attentive to all of them. The crew was professional and relatively quiet since I was working from home. Both Kevin and Kirby stopped by multiple times to check on things during the job. The inspector even told me ""Kevin's the best."" They made a customer for life (or for as long as I live nearby anyway). Highly recommended.

We had some damage on our Spanish tile roof due to an foreseen accident. I called Kevin and he came over right away. He explained to me what the repair would entail and gave me a quote. We decided to have him and his crew do the repairs and they a great job. His crew was polite and cleaned up after themselves. It was a half day job and in the end, the price was less than what had been quoted.

All in all, dealing with Kevin was a pleasure. A true professional.

I just became eligible to review K Reed Roofing after they finished the work I hired Kevin to do.

Two or three summers ago we were toying with the idea of replacing our roof with a foam room. I found K Reed on Yelp and called them up. Kevin came over. Kevin is professional. I knew it the moment I met him. Over the next hour or so he and I went up onto the roof where he begin explaining roofing to me. He also took a hard look at my roof, looked at me in the eye and said "" Rick, your roof is doing it's job and should last several more years"". The reason I was thinking foam was because my house gets hot in the middle of summer. That's a month or so. Kevin talked me out of replacing my roof. I'm still amazed and really thankful he did because I don't like throwing money away. Who does?
Fast forward to last month. I knew water was getting into my house through the roof. I thought I could fix it myself. I even thought that I actually fixed it. I did not. Was there any other roofing contractor I was ever going to call other that Kevin? I think not! Kevin came over. He he was again. I think that this man was born to own his roofing business. It cost me what I believed to be fair and there is no more water coming in my house. Kevin, thank you very much. I wish every business was owned and run like yours. Too few owners are, frankly, not nearly as involved in the manner that you are.
One day I'll need that roof replaced. It's reassuring to know Kevin is only a phone call away. Thank you very much Kevin!

This is the second time I have used them (the first was 2011). The problem was the same: tiles falling off the edge of my roof.

They went out of their way to come on a convenient day, showed up promptly, and went right to work. Everything was fixed in 2 and a half hours, including bringing replacement tiles, checking the whole roof and the flashing, and cleaning out an area that was used by pigeons (they also did that in 2011, but then it need more work). I especially liked that they used screws rather than nails, which helps secure the tiles better, and I appreciated that they cleaned up carefully after themselves.

They also provide photos of their work (I kept the ones from 2011 which helped me remember them).

This was a solid job by experienced professionals. I recommend them to anyone in our area who needs work done.

What a great experience. I had an appointment today to get an estimate for what I thought would be a roof replacement and it's rare when it happens but Kevin told me I didn't need to replace my roof. Kevin was incredibly professional and patient and took the time to educate me on How he would pursue a repair, how he would replace the roof when it was time and what he would do differently to make it even better. Amazing experience from an installer with a phenomenal product (GAF) and warranty.

Probably the most professional service co. I've ever run across. We called them during the gnarliest part of the winter storms and they were ON it! Provided photos and a detailed write-up in both the proposal phase, and after the work was done.

2 years ago, my mother-in-law (who owns our house) had this company come out to fix some leaks, as they had worked on her home. They came and fixed the leaks and some other issues the roof had. They missed a small section of gutter that was leaking onto the house and down a window when it rained. It was like a river running down the window. Lucky, it is a solid double pained window, so there was no immediate issue...but there would be if left unchecked. We contacted the roofers and they said they would send someone out within the week to fix it at no charge. We did not hear back from them for over a year...even after repeated requests to have the mistake fixed.
Today, Oct 21 2016...they finally sent someone out to fix the problem...and they where 1.5 hours late. I have a chronic illness, so my wife had to take time off work to deal with them. Work that puts food on our table. She is now over two hours late for work. Unacceptable.
While the work if fine...their business needs to learn to fix their mistakes in a timely manor.
I would not recommend them...
