Three weeks after moving into our home this past December us Ventura residents received our first heavy rain in years. On the second day of rain, we woke up to the rainwater dripping in the bedroom. I tarped and tared the roof as best I could in the downpour but wanted a roofer to inspect and give an estimate on replacing the roof when it dried. K&H Roofing was recommended by previous neighbors. Kurt responded and came over in a timely fashion. He found a few suspect areas that I had missed and slapped some mastic on them. He felt pretty confident that was the source of the main leak. When I asked him what I owe him told me no charge, but a review and 1st shot at doing the job when the time comes would be nice. I found him to be very friendly and he conveyed great customer service. He also gave me an estimate on replacing the roof as it is about that time.

My wife and I purchased our home with a roof in sub-par condition. Kurt provided an estimate during the inspection process that assisted us in getting a little credit for the work during closing. After spending a few months saving, we revisited working with Kurt and he honored the quote he had written up for us.

We got the project on the calendar and he and his crew showed up on time each day and made quick work of the project. He made a couple additional recommendations of a solar fan in the attic and an air duct above the garage to keep the attics cooler and not roast the shingles from the inside out. He was very transparent about the pricing for the additional work which we agreed to.

I got up on the roof after they were done to take a look around. I went into the attic and could see where they replaced and patched some damaged plywood. The finishing work was excellent. They also cleaned up our property at the end of each day which is really appreciated, especially considering how much material was removed to do the job.

His work was both reasonably priced and beautifully done. I highly recommend Kurt for your roofing needs!

I needed a roofer for a client in May 2021. They gave me Kurt's number, I called and got the wife. They were on a boat somewhere, she asked me to call back Monday (which I did). I gave the address, they said they would check it out and call me back. 3 weeks later, nothing. So I call again. On vacation again, could I call them back the following week? Sure, no problem. I call back, give the address, again crickets.
I try again in July, send the address by text at their request a few minutes later, they say ""who is this?"". I explain, and wait another few weeks. This goes on a while. Here it is October. So, I did try to hire them, thought I actually did hire them, and apparently I didn't hire them. Like the Twilight Zone. Other reviews on here are pretty good, so not sure what the disconnect is. I do remember cannabis is legal now, maybe that has something to do with it? Maybe they will call me when they need money for a new bong.

Excellent roofing service. We received multiple estimates. Kurt at K&H was the most thorough. He climbed onto the roof to do an accurate evaluation.
He also spent a lot of time with us helping pick out the tile Provided the samples we needed for making the decision we would be stuck with for a long time.
Holly provided the estimate the next day and responded to all our questions immediately.
A roof replacement is a messy job, but the crew covered items in garage and installed a tarp to prevent debris getting into the pool. They cleaned up after each work day.
Once completed, there were some fine tuning required. Kurt and Antonio responded immediately and resolved everything. We were also dealing with insurance company and everything was done to ensure payment was received.
Kurt even cleaned the skylight so it sparkled with our new roof.
Great price + Great job = Happy customer!
