They installed a roof 1 1/2 ago, it started to leak it took them 2 weeks to get back to me, came out did some spotty repairs and blamed it on the painters. In the end they did not inspect the sub base and it caused the roof to fail. I was never given the option to repair the the sub base. Seems with all their experience they claimed to have it did not help me, his solution was to charge me again for their failure to inspect properly and the roofs failure buyer beware !

Warren and his crew replaced our roof in two days. They were professional and took the time to do it the right way. Sealed off rooms with plastic that needed it, replaced plywood and cleaned up their mess along the way. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone who asks. Working in the construction industry, I can tell you stories of companies that not only take advantage of consumers, but use subpar materials. Warren is such a wonderful man and his crew were nothing but professional. If you need a Roof - this is the only company to call!

Warren is amazing! We have only lived in our house for 2 years and I noticed the area above our garage was leaking after the last winter rain storm. I asked the previous owner if she had the contact info for the people who did the roof; when we bought the house she said the roof had just been changed recently. I called Warren to ask about the warranty on the roof since the previous owner had used them. Well long story short...he sent his guys out to take a look at it next business day and was fixed free of charge! Warren is professional and most important...an HONEST business man. He could have charged me or denied the warranty, etc but he didn't. He stood by the work
The leak was minor too..so it could have waited but he sent people out as soon as he could to fix it.

I was delighted with the professionalism and service I received from this roofing company. They kept their commitments and provided me with ample information to make a good decision with the roof that would best suit my needs. In addition, the end product was beautiful! My home looked wonderful from the street after it was done. I received many compliments from my neighbors! I would highly recommend this company. I have shared their contact information with many on my picky friends, confident that they would not be disappointed.

These guys are true professionals. Listed a house for a client of mine, they came out and gave us a roof cert. on a roof they did ten years ago. They really stand by their work which is refreshing to see in a company these days. Highly recommend this company.

I had an excellent experience with JW Roofing. I had several quotes to re-roof my home before I was referred to JW Roofing. I had my initial meeting with Brian and found him to be very friendly and knowledgeable. I also spoke to the owner, Warren, who answered many of my questions and addressed my concerns. I then spoke to a couple of their recent customers and heard great feedback - not only on the quality of their work but also on their customer service. Their pricing was very competitive and as a preferred GAF contractor, the warranties are extended.

The project went well and was actually a little cheaper than expected (we thought we had skip sheathing on the entire roof, but one section of the roof already had plywood, so that lowered the wood sheathing cost). Their customer service was great - Brian helped coordinate the replacement of my old acrylic skylights with new Velux skylights and also installation of new rain gutters. Everything looks great! Overall, I'm a very satisfied customer - I can highly recommend JW Roofing for your next project.

Rushed, reckless, inconsiderate, and lack of pride is what screamed when I inspected what JW Roofing considered a complete job. The five star reviews given to this company were most likely given by customers that probably didn't actually inspect their roof after the job was done. Moreover, Warren's failure to correct the issues properly and completely demonstrates his level of professionalism and integrity to be highly disappointing. In a nut shell, during and after the installation process I was constantly noticing obvious errors that needed correcting or adjusting, such as the underlayment in one area having several razor scores and even melted by the torch they used. This was dismissed by Warren (the owner) as ""inconsequential because it doesn't stop any water anyway."" Really Warren? how about the simple fact that new-undamaged material was what was paid for, and what does that say about the level of awareness and professionalism your installers have. Another item was, the opening for the ridge vent is supposed to be 3/4"" on either side of the roof ridge. Well his guys decided that the manufactures recommendation didn't matter because the cuts they made wavered between 1/4"" to 3"". How can someone fail to cut a straight line by that much unless he simply didn't give a damn. When Warren was shown the poor workmanship he said, ""well we never do ridge vent installations."" How does that matter? I never do ridge vents either but I can cut a straight line, and not to mention its not a complicated thing to install, its totally easy! Holes were created in the stucco by Warren's guys but nobody cared to seal them up or even notify us. Guess they figured oh well its not their house, if rain water runs into the walls of the house not their problem. Exposed nail heads on the roof were left without caulking. And speaking of nails, they shot nails through the eves that are clearly visible and truly unsightly. Not only that, but in many areas throughout the roof, the wood has been shattered. Now I don't know if they had their air guns set at an unreasonably high PSI or the nails were the wrong size or a combination of both. Whatever the reason, It looks wrong and horrible but Warren's response to that was to paint the eves and try to conceal the nails and cracked boards using that method. The installation of attic fans was paid for but one of them wasn't nailed down properly causing an irritating noise when in operation. When this was brought to Warrens attention, he laughed and said, ""this is why I disagree with installing these, they are worthless and the roof will outlast these things anyway. I was amazed at his responses. Perhaps he thought his shallow explanations were effective on me. Which brings me to another point, Warren has a likeable personality and is good at controlling a conversation. If your unaware of this tactic, your concerns will be cut short and next thing you know you'll be talking about something else before voicing everything that you originally wanted to share. I can seriously go on and on about how disappointed I am at the service these guys provided but I will only share two more points that I feel are noteworthy. First, Warren was sent pictures of the poor workmanship his crew preformed in an email with a note by me asking him to figure out what he is going to do to make the matter right. It wasn't surprising that he completely ignored the email. He did however decide to respond only after he was reported to the contractors state licensing board. Why did it take them getting involved before he decided to make an attempt at correcting the multitude of errors? I say attempt because (which brings me to the second point before I close) he sent a worker to fix the issues that were noted but as the whole job went, this was no different. Having to once again inspect behind his worker, I immediately noticed the valley flashing was still crushed. Unchanged after Warren said he would be happy to do so. An obvious head shaker to anyone that would see it. But of course you would have to go on the roof to see it, that's why I say the 5 star reviews probably come from unsuspecting customers that have only seen their roof from the driveway. Anyway, after this failure was reported to Warren, along with a request to refund approx. $250.00 that he shouldn't have charged for what he billed as a roof repitch that was supposed to allow water to freely run off a flat portion of the roof, but of course and not surprising, water still pools up in the exact area of the ""RE PITCH"" he responded in an email saying ""no more visits, no more correspondence we're done. HEADACHES upon HEADACHES this company reminds me of those stupid direct tv commercials that have people walking into glass, sitting on gum, opening a shaken soda can, a kid kicking the back of a seat etc. You like stupid problems, call these guys. For everyone else, there are true pros you can call that take pride and their time to do things right!

Long overdue review.

On Nov 2014, certain parts of our roof started to have signs of leakage (signs for the 1980s felt paper to retire) but the tilts are in good condition. I did some research and had proposals from 5 roofing companies.

The whole process, from permit, inspection to finish, was done seamlessly yet professionally within a week!

Since our tiles have been discontinued, they went above and beyond to find the best possible match for replacement. They also checked and repaired roof sheathing for structure soundness plus now I have 4 attic vents to help keep the house cooler in summer!

The best part is everyone in Warren's team have been working in his company for more than 10 years.

Thank you JW Roofing's crew! We would highly recommended them as they provide great quality work at a reasonable cost.
