Jesus and his team worked on our kitchen remodeling. I am extremely happy with their work. Jesus is very knowledgeable, charged a very reasonable price, did excellent work in painting, installation of tiles, the new exhaust, new faucet, gas range and dishwasher. When my tiles were late, Jesus was very accommodating, he worked on my schedule. Eduardo really worked hard on the painting and result was exceptional! Jorge was very detailed on the tiles and it was flawless.
Jesus said that he works on project as if it is his own house so he always make sure that they are solid and done right. Super happy with the result of our kitchen. I will definitely hire them again for my next renovation!

Jesus, Peter and Maximo are outstanding! They are very professional and punctual. They did everything, and even more, than I had asked them to do. I had them remodel and update an old out building. New stucco. and fresh paint were applied. They charge very reasonable prices, and I am super happy with the final results! :-)

I had to fix the roof of my apartment last August. Pedro was very helpful and thorough in helping me to understand and find the best solution for the issue I had. Because of the lockdown, my revenues were slashed; this put me in a very tough situation financially, but Pedro and his team offered to do the job for an extremely fair rate. Saved me a lot of money and headache.

So so so happy with my experience with JV Handyman. They priced the project reasonably and got the job done quickly. I had them do three bathroom fan new installations and the end results were exactly what I was looking for. I worked mainly with Pete, who I found to be incredible personable. I felt like he took the time to understand me and my needs for the project. His knowledge regarding city codes was invaluable; it made me confident that the job was done correctly, and also gave me ideas for other improvements to make on my property. Since this job was done during Covid, I was happy with the team's consistent wearing of masks.

I searched Yelp for handyman services and JV was one of the additional bidders. JV responded with a reasonable price and immediately understood exactly what needed to be done. Other company estimates seemed like they were planning to replace the entire chimney cap and estimated hours of work. Pete came by and completed the job in 10 minutes! He was patient, understanding, confident, efficient. 5/5, would reach out again for other house projects.

This is the only rating I can give; they didn't show. Twice.
The first time after agreeing on a time, we asked Jesus if they could come an hour earlier. The owner said yes, but would send his partner as he was tied up. They did not show.

Assuming this was not normal given the excellent reviews they've received, we booked a time 2 days later for 11:00. No show - we were there all through early afternoon, so even had they been late, we could have accomodated

I don't like writing negative reviews. But as this site is about helping one another make decisions, I decided to do so. This was really disappointing to us after the positive reviews he's had.

Jesus and his team responded instantly and completed all requested tasks brilliantly! Projects were completed super fast - 24 hour turnaround from initial inquiry to completion. The guys were polite, energetic, listened carefully, and asked questions to make sure everything was correct.

Quite versatile in their collective skills, they expertly replaced a shower door, repaired and improved a screen porch roof system, and replaced faulty electrical switches.

Prices were agreeable, and there is a level of flexibility and trust from deposit in cash, in my case, to final payment via Venmo. Willing to travel to the Santa Cruz Mountains on a moment's notice, I will invite the boys back for more projects on my property in the near future.

Jesus and team recently remodeled my master bathroom. New cabinets, shower, tile, countertop, lighting and flooring. These guys did a fantastic job start to finish. From the tile guy to the electrician and everyone in between they were all a pleasure to work with. Jesus was always willing to do whatever I asked and had suggestions for me as well. Always on time and relia I am definitely going to call back in a few months for interior painting and floors.

Great work! JV and Pedro arrived and fixed fence in two hours. And replaced baseboard as well, clean up and then follow up with paper work later.
Definitely JV Handymen number is now in my contact for next projects in summer time!
