Jeff called from JTI to ask who would be home on Saturday, stating they would be showing up to my door to inspect inside and out for hurricane damage after reading off my full name and address. I asked who requested the assessment, and was asked for our insurance carrier and other personal information, including how many people live in the household and when we are usually at home.

I was told they are an independent company offering repair and remodel services, and would be here Saturday, and hung up on. Return calls go to voicemail.

Not only is this wildly inappropriate and invasive, but I now have to file an FCC report for unsolicited calls, and we will have to be home Saturday since a company we didn't call are inviting themselves over to enter our home without permission.

I obtained a roofing estimate from Jeff to replace the entire roof. I also obtained three other estimates and made the decision to use a different company for the installation based on a company that I felt was right for the job. I did not have any ill feelings toward JTI Roofing until the day my roof project started and Jeff decided to send me this email - ""Dont know the point of having me come out to your house and wasting my time with the crap story about not getting your check. Your choice to go with who ever you like ,but you wasted my time and you paid more - Good choice - You should have checked there reviews - good luck "". This could be exactly why I went with my gut and chose someone else to do the work. This is probably exactly in line with the type of work and service I would have received from JTI Roofing. Glad I stayed away.
