The owner Jim came out in July 2018 and gave me a reasonable estimate. He picked up the City permit and started work the following week. His foreman Victor and his assistant knew their job very well and did an excellent job removing the concrete tiles, replacing all damaged wood including fascia boards, rafter tails and ship lap. They completely covered the roof with 2 layers of #30 Felt, reset existing tiles and replaced all broken ones. They also reset two skylights and replaced all flashing and roof vents. Jim was by every day checking on the work and bringing supplies. This contractor did an excellent job on my roof. I would highly recommend him for any roofing work. This roof went through the 2018-2019 Southern California rains without a problem. I am now having him give me an estimate to repair my patio cover

JTI just reset my roof, the late February 2019, in Chino Hills, using the Wedgit foam product and I am beyond happy with the job they did. The level of professionalism and experience of the owner, Jim and his crew, which includes his son Matt, is phenomenal. If I could give JTI a ""10"", I would. Jim is honest, personable and takes the time to thoroughly review the work to be done. Jim came by every morning and late afternoon to update us on the progress. The crew was amazing. They arrived and were working, at 8 a.m. sharp and never slowed down the entire day. They also cleaned up everyday. We were told the job would be done in 5 days and it was. You just don't see this type of work ethic or pride in workmanship these days. We needed some wood rotted areas replaced and every time an area was discovered they not only let us know, but they showed us. There was never any sales pitch, Jim just showed us some of his work and let us decide how we wanted to proceed. When I wrote the final check, I felt good, as I know I got superior value, for the dollars spent. JTI is fully licensed, bonded and insured. One last thing. When the City of Chino Hills came, for their final inspection, they said that JTI is the premier Roofing company in the Chino Hills area, which is about the best endorsement that you can get, next to mine. I have previously had my roof tiles reset and had the Wedgit foam product installed underneath the tiles. I was so impressed with their professionalism and timeliness. They were polite, courteous and on time. They cleaned up the work site afterwards. The house has been so much more comfortable, with less running of the air conditioning since the Wedgit foam product has been installed under the roof. Just recently I had them do some rafter repair work as well. They got the job done quickly and because it turned out to be not as involved as originally expected, the owner, ethically reduce the price accordingly.

I just had my roof tiles re-set by JTI construction and I wanted to share my excellent experience working with Jim and his crew. I like Frank (prior reviewer) found a flyer on my doorstep around the time that I was considering re-setting my roof tiles and called him up. I had multiple quotes done and what stood out to me most about JTI's quote was the details that he included in addition to the fact he sat down with me in my kitchen to make sure I understood everything and the process/timeline. From the get-go, I got the vibe that this guy was honest and took pride in his work so my wife and I selected his firm to do the work. We scheduled it for a month out and made our deposit.

Leading up to our start date, Jim called me the week prior to ensure I had all the information needed for the city permit so nothing would be held up and the day we started until the day we finished (1 week with no rain woohoo!) Jim and his crew showed up on-time, if not early, and worked hard all throughout the day. I know because I took the week off from work to be available. His crew was personable, easy to talk to, answered all my questions with professionalism and treated my home like it was there's.

Each morning/afternoon Jim would swing by to inspect the work and give me the run-down for the day to come. I myself would inspect the work after they left and I have to say their attention to detail impressed me. From the woodwork where they had to replace/paint some facia boards to the painting of the roof vents to make them blend in better - I was thoroughly impressed. I knew re-setting the roof tiles was a lot of money and something I needed to do, but seeing the quality of work they put in really made me appreciate this investment that much more.

Ultimately, the job was completed on-time and within the budget expectations that Jim originally set with me. JTI Construction really knows their stuff! I highly recommend - and so did all of my neighbors too because I checked his references :)

One last thing I'll mention, there seem to be multiple JTI construction companies across the county. Just make sure you get Jim!

Found a flyer on my door one day and, due to roofs leaks, gave them a call. Came out next day and gave estimate that was half of what I'd expected. Confirmed contractor's license and found no complaints. Hired to do job and kept us posted, step by step, as to how it was coming along. Roof looks great and doesn't leak anymore. Highly recommended.
