DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR!! I signed a contract with JRs Roofing and Remodeling (Jay) back in APRIL of 2019 for a new small house build for my mom. I fronted him over $20,000 for materials and labor to get things started. We put all my moms belongings in storage and have been paying it for what will be now over two years! It is now JUNE 2021 and the foundation HAS NOT BEEN DONE!! There was always an excuse as to why there was some type of delay. I'm a very patient person and was working with him because he was having personal family issues but I have NO f*cks to give any more. It's been TWO LONG YEARS dealing with this bullsh*t! Just this year in APRIL 2021 we had a pre-construction meeting with the inspector in Lockhart to go over with him so he knew what to do during the construction. He was given the 'ok' by the inspector to get the permit after we finished our meeting that day but HE NEVER GOT IT! He's now ignoring my phone calls and texts. I have no choice but to take him to court to recoup monies owed. What a nightmare! DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR!!
