Providing Georgia with affordable residential and light commercial construction solutions. J. R. Jones Construction, Inc. started in Henry County as a residential builder, providing unique alternatives to the conventional ""box"" homes that were prevalent. As we developed, more clients sought our help for home and business enhancements, additions, and accessibility modifications. Currently, we are an approved contractor for Veteran Affairs Special Adaptive Housing, a member of the National Association of Home Builders, and affiliated with the Greater Atlanta Home Builder Association.
I am a family man, married with two beautiful daughters.
I grew up in Charlotte, NC, and pursued a Business degree at UNC-Charlotte after my enlistment in the USAF. In 1990, I moved to the Atlanta area and began working as an aircraft mechanic for Delta Air Lines, Inc. I moved up to the quality control department at Delta, and after investing in rental properties in Georgia, I started constructing homes in 1996. After a decade of building as a side business, my family encouraged me to leave the security of Delta to pursue my goal of enhancing construction quality in Georgia. Now, after the economic adjustments we've all encountered, J. R. Jones Construction, Inc. is still flourishing and growing.
