We needed a new roof on our rental property because our insurance company was cancelling us. Journey Builders came to our rescue with professional service and great communication. Grant called us every other day and also sent us many photos as the project progressed. They ordered the materials with speed and passed their city inspections with ease. Within two weeks they were done with our new roof. They are amazing!!

I had my roof replaced around December 2021. I was advised that the roof would have a lifetime warranty and that any issues would be covered. On NYE of 2022 (one year later), my roof began leaking in multiple places.

I reached out to my project manager and advised him. No response.

I then called the primary office. I was directed to provide video evidence to the owner, which I did. They sent a team out, said the work was done after a day or so and left.

Three months later, one of the two locations said to have been fixed is still leaking water.

Over the last year and a half, I have contacted the office roughly seven times. They have sent out three different people, but no one has fixed the issue.

This past rainy season in 2024, once again the roof leaked from that exact location in 2022.

I have tried to work with them, but without a resolution, I must go to the CA Licensing board.

This past week, on Tuesday, I called the office twice. Finally, my project manager reached out to me, but there was no follow-up or visit.

Clearly, JB does not care.

Grant and his team helped me almost rebuilt my entire roof. There were a few surprises with the process as when you open something up you never really know what you're dealing with. The crew would do their best to try to clean up the mess at the end of every job was appreciated. Overall they were professional, friendly and were very willing to talk through it to get the job done with you in mind.

Journey Builders were on top of everything day one. Project manager Grant was wonderful to work with. Explained everything and worked with us regarding pricing and workmanship. Our roof looks beautiful and was completed in a timely manner. At the beginning , our roof was immediately tarped to avoid further damage and demolition of the old roof began as soon as the rain stopped. Had our walk through today, and there were a couple things that needed to be taken care of, and between Grant and Luis, that was taken care of immediately.
My husband, who has been hospitalized through all this, is very pleased with photos and communications I have shared with him.

We worked with Grant during our roofing project and he was always available and ready to answer any questions or resolve any issues we had. They were also very accommodating to our requests. We would recommend them for any roofing projects that would come about. Also be aware they are a bilingual company. But the language barrier was no problem. Very professional and very accommodating. Grant O. Is the man!!!! We had Journey Builders come out to do a estimate for a new roof on a 100 year old house in February. Today that roof is done. Excellent Job. Grant communicated every step of the way. There were surprises based on condition of the roof and work was conducted in a very timely manner. Berkeley Inspection passed!!
