Very questionable sales tactics that raised serious red flags. Was quoted a price for roof replacement, which was quite high. When I said I was going to get additional estimates, suddenly the inspector/salesman's manager found a way to take $8k off the price but only if I agreed by the following day (it was the weekend). Supposedly my project would be joined with another in the area that was starting immediately - what a coincidence! I said I would think about it but wanted all the details in writing. The inspector agreed but never sent the document. Very shady indeed!

I recently purchased a house that needed a roof repair. After interviewing with multiple roofing companies, I came across Journey Builders. From the start, Ramon was very helpful and explained all the details of the job in depth. This made me feel comfortable and understanding of what needed to be done. He was able to keep me within my budget. The job took longer than expected, but Ramon was communicative and kept us updated on the delays that were caused by the city. It was a very pleasant experience to work with Journey Builders. I would highly definitely recommend them!!!

We needed a roof replacement. I don't know how old the existing roof was. The house was built in 1970 and we bought it in 2000. We worked with Yero's team. He worked with us on every detail from start to finish. He was great. The workmen were great. Everyone was nice and polite and did an excellent job. We are very satisfied and relieved that we will never have to worry about replacing it again. We definitly would recommend these guys.

I asked for a budget friendly solution to my older mobile home leaky roof.
JB made an OUTRAGES quote for my project and I mean OUTRAGES. Especially for what JB was offering (coating my roof for $21,175.00, yeah $21,175.00 for coating).
I actually laughed.
Plus JB would/could not guarantee their work because of the materials that they would be using.
What type of company does not guarantee the materials they will use on your project?!
I do not appreciate my time being wasted by such nonsense.

I had a great experience with Journey Builders. Arthur visited immediately when I reached out for a quote. He was professional, knowledgeable and committed to helping out with my new roof. I was impressed with Arthur and he seemed to set the stage for his peers with constant communication and follow up. The workers were great in putting on a new roof and cleaning up the mess immediately. They, including Samir, were polite , professional, and acted quickly to remedy any ""hiccups"". Bryan Perez visited to wrap up the project details and ensure my satisfaction. He, too, was a true professional and a sterling example of customer service! I went into contract with this company and when the workers arrived unexpectedly they refused to do the work. The representative George had not provided scaffolding which we had talked about needing. Then he called to say he gave me an incorrect cost and would need to raise it by 7k to make up for his mistake- I said nope you need to honor your contract- at this point it took weeks to get him to agree. I informed him of my timeline due to travel and he said no problem. So from April to June no action. Two days prior to me leaving he said he was sending a crew- I said no I will be gone for two months- which he knew. I said I'll return August 5 so pick a start date for then. 2 months of trying to get a date and zero response from the company if George. I had to have another person call and at that point they refused to do the job. I spoke to quality management and the person was rude and basically they refunded my deposit and had zero explanation or accountability. The person who came to bring my check was not scheduled and arrive unexpectedly. I informed them of issues and they had no idea. That person said he felt bad.
The company is not reputable reliable or accountable. I would give zero stars.

Hired Journey builders for new roof, contacted vee and trusted to do any repairs needed as agreed... It's been almost 6 months and still, has not been completed... I've contacted Vee and journey builders to fix issues and poor job done.. I asked for invoice of roof shingles from manufacturer to my house.... I still haven't heard from management...

Took these guys almost 2 months to complete a job that should have taken a few days to complete. Besides the length of time it took to complete the work, the work was not completed to what they stated they were going to do. I see the rep who help facilitate the gouging of prices is still with the company, ensure that besides the contract that you get a detailed list of what is being done. I held payment until I got that invoice and I was being charged for work that was not completed, besides that you'll be able to see how you're being ripped off. These guys hiked the cost of materials to over 3 times the amount of the actual cost. A year later, my turtles have yet to return after the drunken (found empty beer cans in the roof after project finish) builders decided it was a good idea to rinse paint and chemicals into my pond. Please do not use this price gouging, unethical, and corrupt company. Also any city inspectors please check their permits, as I was told by one of the project managers that they lie on those permits so they don't have to pay extra for the projects estimated pricing. They'll say the project cost on permits are 7-8 thousand while charging up to 40,000+. I am also very suspicious about the validity of their warranty

I called them to come out for an estimate to fix a leak in my roof and they tried to sell my a total roof job for $41,000 dollars. That was too expensive for me and after several minutes of discussions he was able to bring the price down to $32,000. I didn't want to do it and then he refused to give me an estimate for the repair job. As he was leaving, he would do the job for $30,000. It appears to me this company wants to gouge it's customer's if they can otherwise why would the cost drop so much. I would not recommend this company.
