They also replaced my roof after the spring 2017 hail storms. I noticed they did not replace the old felt. How can they inspect the sheathing under the felt without taking it off. Roofers can typically replace a roof in a day. Therefore if you are not at home watching them, you would never know if they replaced the felt. This is just a cheap trick for them to pocket more money as not replacing the felt is less materials & labor costs. I didn't feel like bringing it up because we had already had quarrels about other ""cost saving"" ideas Shane had that I didn't agree with. My advice, just stay away.

I know Shane Jones with Jones' Customs has done a lot of work in the Stonebridge Range neighborhood, but I just wanted to pass along my feedback and experience working with him in order so save other's the same trouble in the future.
I trusted Shane with all my home repairs after the hail storm last year (20K in repairs). Shane ensured me that he did work in our neighborhood often and was extremely familiar with our HOA guidelines so he would make sure everything was done in compliance and I had nothing to worry about.
After my fence was replaced, I received notification from our HOA that it was not in compliance. When the fencing guy asked Shane if he check it first, Shane replied in front of me ""I would rather ask forgiveness than permission man."" He then told me he would get me the paperwork needed and take care of it.
After appealing with our HOA to ask for an acception, because my fence does look great and I didn't really understand why it's not acceptable, my claim was declined and I was made aware that I will have to have my new fence re-done. I had already spent a lot of money on repairs, and it was the holidays so this was something I really couldn't afford.
I reached out to Shane immediately, since this was an issue I was told would be taken care of well ahead of time and I don't feel like I should be paying for this out of my pocket. Shane simply responded by texting me the number to the fence guy and then dodged the rest of my calls and texts asking him to help me make this right.
I am now having to get my fence fixed and pay for it out of pocket, because Shane is very willing to take your money, but absolutely not willing to own up to his own mistakes. I would absolutely stay away from working with him - he is in it to make as much money for himself as possible and will not take ownership for his work.
