I'm imploring homeowners to do their due diligence and not blindly trust contractors. And be skeptical of the cheapest contractors. I learned the hard way. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

This contractor, Jose, Owner of this company, pulled the bait and switch, breached contract, lied many times, was insulting, and refused to remedy his mistakes. I caught him installing a different shingle than specified in our contract. A completely different brand of worse quality! I also discovered that he was not certified with said shingle company, as he told us he was. We specified a specific shingle and specific warranty in our contract that would be 130 MPH rated and grade 4. He installed lower grade shingles and a roofing system of cheaper materials, some of which are only rated for 60 MPG! I spent about 20 hours calling distributors, shingle companies, and researching to uncover the depths of his deception.

We asked him to fix his mistakes and he refused. At one point, he lied and said he would fix part of the roof (ridge caps) and that he had already ordered the correct materials, and then refused to do so.

He also refused to register a warranty for our roof period, even though we specified one in our contract. So we are stuck with a roof that is not rated for the bad Houston storms we see (hail and wind resistance) and no registered warranty. On top of this, he refused to fix his mistakes and offer any meaningful discount. Instead, he sent me a demand letter for payment with a $300 discount with no invoice, modified contract, or explanation of anything. It was bizarre.

Also, we caught him in at least 15 lies throughout this process, most of which I have documented proof of. He lied to our neighbors (who he also installed the wrong roof for) and to us about our neighbors, and to us about the shingle company rep. Get this- after dealing with this issue, two single companies (CertainTeed and Malarkey) have either uncertified his company from their programs or are in the process of doing so. The area reps personally told me on the phone that he has misrepresented himself and their companies.

There's a lot more shady things he did, but I will leave it at this. In the future, homeowners, get everything in writing and check to see exactly what the roofer installed. Some will swindle you for $. It's a shame, but there are ethical roofers out there and I hope those companies get your business.

We'd hoped to resolve this but never received an invoice. Just a final demand for payment with a $300 discount (which is NOTHING) and then he filed against us in small claims court lol. So strange.

Oh, and he installed a new roof on my husband's father's house and it leaked in the next storm lol smh.

(I think it goes without saying that whatever he responds to this will be a bunch of untruths, don't listen to it.)

Yes, great experience! Although it took a couple of months to get to my very minor repairs (post the Cypress Tornado that hit in May) Johnny and his team was very responsive with text and phone calls keeping on their schedule. Given the extensive damage that occurred in my neighborhood from the Tornado and hurricane Beryl. I'm pleased and very lucky that my roof had minimal damage.

Great service for a fair price. He came out the day after i called and he sealed leaks that a big storm a couple weeks before had loosened shingles around my water heater vent and caused a water spot on my ceiling. . He did for 10% what Remedy Roofing quoted me and johnny did the work 5 days before Remedy said they would have someone available

They are the most helpful kind people you will ever meet. I got locked out of my house and I frantically thought of people who could help me and no one could, but Johnny's Roofing did. They brought out a ladder to my home and helped me climb into my window on the second floor. Although it was a peculiar task they did not turn me away, and they didn't ask for anything in return just did out of kindness. Not only was he quick he gave us tips on other things we would've never known about if not for him. If you need any roofing help this is the place to go! They will get you right.

This is the only man you need for all your roofing services and repair. Jose showed up literally the next day to fix a leak from my ceiling that was causing me a lot of stress and anxiety. When I was on the call with him he was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He also explained everything from the issue to the solution when came by the next day. I can't thank you enough for coming by on such short notice and taking care of my roof! All the 5.0 star reviews are true. This man is the truth. Call him if you need any roof service. 6 stars.
