John was on time to each meeting, he was well prepared, he brought his experience and knowledge to the table with a great sense of humor. We had to wait on a few things with insurance, he gave us the time and space we needed to get things done without any pressure. John made the drive to meet with the adjuster to give his professional opinion on the conditions of the previous roof. We had other quotes but Johns was the best option by far.
Once we were sure that we could do it, John came right out with samples and we chose a color. Within 2 weeks of choosing a color the roof was finished. We're thrilled with how it turned out and love the color.
John came back and removed a few things, and installed what we needed with no charge. His crew went above and beyond to get our stuff taken care of.

Highly recommend John Bell for your roofing needs. He came out within an hour of me calling him when I found water leaking down my drywall in my dining room. He was able to put some adhesive around the roof vent that was leaking during the recent flooding rain. He came back today to permanently fix the issue. The money I paid him the first visit went towards my roof repair today. I received faster and better service with Mr. Bell during my first interaction than I did with a roofer I used previously! John Bell Roofing just completed a new metal roof on my A-frame cabin. I found his ad in the Windfall. John did a free estimate and gave me several options on what my roof needed. I was very happy that he kept the communication lines open. He showed up - and always got back to me quickly. I appreciated the fact he didn't try to up-sell me on anything. John did a heck of a great job with our roof.

It's a large roof (close to 70 squares), yet he and his help moved right along and completed the job in a timely manner.

They're very conscious of their work, and maintaining a clean working environment is important to them.

Each and every day, they picked up all the trimmings and wrapping paper.

When you're spending your money, I would definitely recommend John and his crew to complete your project.

I contacted John Bell to repair flashing that appeared not to be installed incorrectly by the prior roofing contractor. The installation was over 10 years ago so it was no longer covered by their workmanship warranty. I'd had them out twice for repairs and they still didn't fix the issue. I ended up having a neighbor help with some roofing putty and I also put on a ton of putty to get through the rainy season.

John was early to our estimation meeting.
He gave me a very fair quote. I let him know I had a cushion for a little more if necessary.
As expected there was some water damaged wood that needs to be replaced. He also gave me a fair estimate for that damage/repair and a reasonable time for completion.
He is working in high 90 degree weather.

He even offered to repaint my trim if I supplied the paint after the repairs.

I am of the impression he is providing quality work and does so at a reasonable price. Of course, I won't really know the impact until after the rains come but I feel more confident than I did with the other company.

I'm recommending him to others and thought I should on Yelp as well.
