Do not use this company, these people are fraudulent. I had them replace my roof. Two months later, there was a huge water stain on my ceiling because they had forgotten to seal the area where a copper barrel roof met the roof tiles they installed. Once they sealed this area (and did not help repair the stained ceiling), they assured me that the other side of the barrel roof was properly sealed. Two years later a mildew smell developed in the room. My handyman told me water had rotted the wood where the other side of the barrel roof met the roof tiles and that the insulation in the attic was wet and smelled of mildew too. Joe Ward came over since their roof was still under warranty. At first he refused to enter the attic but I forced him up there. When he emerged I was on my front lawn. He claimed everything was perfectly intact, no rotting wood, no dampness, but he thought the mildew smell was caused by a pin hole leak in the copper barrel roof and water had made its way under an oval window and behind a bathroom mirror. He believed it would be about $4000-5000 to have a new copper barrel made. I insisted he show me what he had meant. When we entered the room he realized the mirror did not meet the window sill. I asked him why there were no water stains on the wall between the window and the mirror and he turned bright red. He said he would come back with another person to perform more tests and in the meantime get an estimate for the copper barrel. The next day there was a roofer working next door. I asked him to check things out. He said there was nothing wrong with the copper barrel whatsoever but all the wood was wet and rotting where the barrel met the tiles. He took pictures to prove his point. I realized then that Joe Ward was a scam artist and was hoping to charge me for a repair I did not need (the copper barrel) to fund his warranty work. This seems to be his modus operandi. Bottomline, I paid someone else to replace all of the damp insulation in the attic, re-build parts of the damaged wood structure and seal the area next to the barrel; extra tiles had to be installed in this area because Ward had not laid the tiles close enough to the copper barrel. $4000 later I thought that was the end of Ward roofing problems. Yesterday I had a man clean the vent to my dryer. When he went on the roof and then in the attic to find the exit for the dryer vent he discovered that the roofers had put tar paper over the vent hole and never reconnected the vent, but, they left the vent duct on the roof for show. Lint was blowing freely into my attic. Also, while the vent man was on my roof he discovered a six square foot area that Ward had forgotten to tile. He took a picture which showed a black surface (tar paper?) exposed to the elements with no tiles. The man said there appeared to be significant structural damage in the area. I am sure this will cost another $4000 to fix. Bottomline: Ward Roofing is a dishonest firm who will concoct a bogus problem when you need to use their warranty. They are the quintessential scam artists.

This company is horrific and complete FRAUD. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

They replaced my entire roof about 5 and half years ago since then I have had two leaks. One they fixed years ago and the second one was just repaired in January. They did claim to take responsibly for the error made during installation for the latest repair. However I believe they padded my quote for their mistake. They said the leak fix was free but gave me a quote for some other repairs for cracked tiles. they quoted me $1,200 for the replacement of approximately 8-10 tiles and for about 75-100 cracked tiles to be repaired with silicone. I couldn't get on the roof to verify so I trusted them and paid them a $600 deposit.

About a month and half later their repair men finally came to do the work. An hour and 15 minutes later they were done. It seemed like a very quick job for that many tiled so I asked their repair men how many tiles they replaced and how many they repaired with silicone. They said they replaced 9 and repaired about 10!!! That is way off from what their estimator quoted me $1,200 for!!

I called their office to find out what the heck my quote was for. It is in my opinion fraud!!! I immediately said that there was no way I was paying them the other $600 they claimed I owed them. Their explanation was that they usually charge $40 per tile for replacement in which case my entire repair would have been $240 plus some silicone for the cracked tiles that were being repaired and not replaced. so let's just says $340 to be generous. I had already given them $600!!! The manager in the office gave me some story about how they have insurance and drive time to get to $600. And I said but you would have collected the other $600 if I would have paid it. They refused to give me a refund. I offered to allow them to use it towards another small part of my roof fascia that needed to replaced but they wouldn't and wanted to charge me more for that. Well that was not happening.

I told them I was calling the better business bureau and haven't heard from them since.

This company is full of it and complete scam artists. Do not use them!!!

I called for an estimate on my 2 commercial buildings. They set up an appointment for 3 weeks out. The day before the scheduled estimate Tiffany called and cancelled the appointment saying they don't do work north of Bird Road. Couldn't they have told me that initially? I wouldn't recommend doing business with this company.

This roofing company roofed my modular home and left half of the roofing debris in the ceiling now laying on my ceiling rotting from the heat & moisture!
I asked the roofer to send me pics of the condition of the wood as he did... this is when I seen all of this in the roof... continuing seal the roof and I do not have any attic access to get this removed! Now mind you this cost me $10,000. And I'm going to sue in court to get this rectified and on top of it all they have voided my roof warranty saying there's a mere $175.00 balance!!! Lmao!
