Not sure about all these positive reviews, but mine is real and anyone who wants to know this company is welcomed to contact me direct. Jorge Abreu ignores problems and his staff will do the same. I had my roof installed by JNT about 3 years ago. About a year after I got a leak and in one room, but I did not suspect the roof, so I just fixed it myself. Got another big leak, I called JNT. There was no response for several days and got nothing but run around. After I posted a review, they called and showed up several days later. They misdiagnosed the problem and I ended up spending $2500 to get rid of skylight and repair the roof. Josh Sanchez charged for items they did not do and gave credit only after they got caught red-handed. The leaks did not stop and this time Sebastian Montanez showed up and his excuse was the house is old ( it is 40 year old home) , the leak is small, and it is not a big deal. This company never sent anyone to check the work, supervise or inspect the work. You never see them after they get the money. They did not stand behind the work and warranty. Their answer to leaks is dumping silicone or caulking on the roof. Sebastian Montanez answer to leak is: 1. it's a small leak 2. house is old. Josh Sanchez will add stuff to your bill, charge you for it and not do it. You have to hire a supervisor / manager/ contractor just to watch over these people. I promise you, once Jorge Abreu cashes your check, you will never hear from him or their incompetent sales people / staff.

Great Fence at a reasonable price!!

After months and months of going through many companies to replace our fence, I finally found a company that not only did an excellent job, but did the work at a very reasonable price. There were a few things I wanted to change and Jamie took care of them in record time. The most impressive event was that at the end of every work day they ensured that the fence was secure for the dog, so I didn't have to worry about her going out into the backyard. Anyone looking for excellent craftsmanship at a livable price, this is the company for you! Thank you again Jamie!!!

I needed to have my roof replaced and a water spot on the ceiling repaired. I coordinated to have my insurance adjuster and the JNT estimator here at the same time. Received my insurance amount and was waiting for the estimate from JNT. JNT took photos but were always reluctant to even give me a ballpark cost. The second visit from JNT a week later and still no estimate but talk and discussing more problems not even related to the repairs I needed. I called another company.

After the hail storm I set off to get a few inspections and quotes. Eric of JNT stood out from the rest because he was professional and knowledgeable, not to mention the competitive quote they drew up. He made a potentially hard situation, easy. I highly recommend them.

So, ""hail yes"", in finding a great contractor to take care of this and my other properties.

Josh Sanchez and JNT were very easy to deal with and the company did an excellent job replacing our roof and gutters. In fact, we were so impressed with them, that we also had them replace some rotted wood that we had around the house as well as replace part of our wooden fence. The entire crew was very professional and punctual. I would definitely hire them again!

David came to do hail inspection, new roof not needed but he talked me into doing a Roof TuneUp for over $700. Since the TuneUp I have had shingles coming off the roof. I asked David to come buy and He stood me up 2 times no show/no call. Will not use this company again.

They replaced our roof and gutters. Jonathan Sherwood was very helpful and helped us through the process. Our roof looks terrific. The crew was courteous and professional.

I'm a real estate investor and hired JNT to remodel a house I flipped in 2013-14. In short, I encountered all of the nightmare scenarios that you hear about with shady general contractors: poor quality work, multiple missed deadlines (and by multiple I mean one after another after another), and lousy/nonexistent communication about the status of the project. The owner of the company, Jorge Abreu (he goes by ""George""), even admitted to me in an email that JNT did a lousy job, while at the same time stating that I was ""an excellent customer"".

I should have turned a very solid profit on this flip, but ended up losing money specifically because of the problems I had with JNT. When I tried to sell the house, it fell out of contract THREE times because of problems with JNT's work that were discovered by the buyers' inspectors. When I contacted Jorge and explained the problems I was having, he told me I should have given JNT more time to fix the problems. All this, despite already giving them WAY more time than was stipulated in the contract and, like I said, missing repeated deadlines. When I brought this to Jorge's attention, he said that change orders were the reason the project was so far behind schedule. If you know anything about construction or remodeling, you'd know that these change orders should not have taken ANYWHERE NEAR the additional time that they did. NOT EVEN CLOSE. While JNT did offer to compensate me for the problems they caused, the amount they offered was absolutely laughable. It wasn't even close to what they actually cost me.

I would pursue legal action against JNT, but after seeing how poorly the company is managed, I'd be shocked if they actually were able to pay a settlement after losing in court, which means I'd then be out thousands more in legal fees.

I'm sure Jorge, or someone from JNT, will respond to this review and try to somehow twist things around to put the blame on me. But like I said, Jorge admitted to me in writing that they did a lousy job. I have documented proof of EVERYTHING I've written above. I'm absolutely certain I could win in court if I chose to pursue that path, but I'm far less confident that JNT could pay. So I'm here writing this review instead.

There are tons of general contractors in DFW. Trust me, you can find plenty that are better than JNT.
