This is a well-deserved, very positive review. We highly recommend this company.

My wife and I decided to act preemptively and replace our roof because we didn't want it to start leaking. I did a search on Angies List and came up with several promising candidates. We solicited bids and interviewed those most promising. J&M roofing submitted the lowest bid, but that wasn't the only reason we selected them. Kevin (Marketing Director) and ""Shy"" (General Manager) made the most impressive presentation so we awarded them the contract.
Work began on schedule and we were most impressed with the work team. They worked very hard, in terrible conditions (hottest week of the year) for 12 and 13 hour days. They completed the project (about 4,000 sqft) in 3 days, just as Kevin had predicted. They cleaned up after themselves real well. They were al very friendly and responsive to any requests.
The GM came out twice to check on the progress and to do a final inspection of the roof himself. He found two shingles that he felt needed to be replaced and someone came quickly to do this. There were several other inspections to make sure that everything was completed to our satisfaction. The final result is a beautiful new roof, We couldn't be more satisfied.
Quality control is definitely high on their list of priorities.

ZERO RATING !! One of their drivers was just FLOORING IT driving the WRONG WAY down St. Augustine Beach right by Mary Street and almost HIT and KILLED my son!! I was screaming at him at the top of my lungs to STOP and he continued to barrel on and called me a fucking bitch among other things. The only reason my son didn't get hit today is because my son heard me screaming and stopped at the last millisecond. The truck, driver and passenger continued to fly off the beach. I have at least 8 witnesses. The cops are looking for you asshole!!! And you better hope they find you first.

I had a leaking roof on my screened in patio and a friend recommended J & M as they had good experience in the past with them. Apparently things have changed since my friend used them. My initial call and first meeting went very well but that's where the good stuff stopped. I was told during the initial estimate that I had some roof damage over the house in addition to the repairs needed for the patio. The contractor said I should open a case with my home owners insurance and when they sent the appraiser out he would meet them and go through everything he found with them. I emailed him as he requested and told him the day and time the appraiser would be at the house and J & M never showed up. I never got a reply to my email or a phone call letting me know they couldn't make it. The appraiser looked at my roof and said there's no way the roof needs anything at all let alone a full replacement. Basically he told me some companies like to pitch home owners the idea they can get a whole new roof for the cost of their deductible. Apparently this is one of them. I ended up being told the repairs were easy and could be done myself so I went and got what I needed and fixed it myself. Even though I closed my home owners claim with no money I've had issues with them ever since so thanks to J & M I may end up having to get another policy with another company that will cost me more money. Based on my experience I wouldn't recommend using this company.

Initially called J&M to request an estimate for a new roof. The secretary took down my information-later that day my call was returned. After a friendly greeting and good conversation an appointment was set. I took the day off to meet with the contractor Dave. Everything was in place to meet in the morning. The contractor was late. I didn't receive a call to let me know that status or a confirmation or the meeting. I proactively called the office, later Dave the contractor arrived. I had a good meeting with Dave. He reviewed my roofing needs and he even assisted in a conversation with my insurance agent. He spent about 1-2 hours with me. At the end of the meeting he promised to send me a detailed quote and email full details on the next steps once he returned to the office. The day passed on and no followup or email. I called him the next day-again he promised he would send me the full information and quote once he returned to the office. The day passed... Nothing... I went on to email Dave and the office email as I was under strict timeline. Nothing.... What a shame. He did such a great job during the estimate and then completely dropped the ball on execution of sending the detailed quote and next steps... What a blunder on his part. I was prepared to do business with him and raved to him how happy I was in his review of my roofing needs. J&M roofing really missed an opportunity with me... I ready to do business-I guess they weren't.

This was a post-Hurricane Matthew new roof install. An overall very good experience! I could not do five stars because we did have a scheduling glitch, and my husband took a vacation day for a job that didn't happen. We were rescheduled for the following week and the job took only one day as promised. The rep, Shai (sp?) was very knowledgeable, personable, and extremely efficient at working with our insurance company and initiating all of the necessary steps for an insurance claim. We do have DirecTV and anticipated not having service the day of the install because the satellite dishes sometimes need to be reset properly by a DirecTV technician. Fortunately, the roofing crew put ours back up properly, and we had fully functioning DirecTV service immediately following the install. The follow up inspections were completed in a timely fashion, and we are very pleased with our new roof and the overall experience. Thank you J & M!
