My wife was home alone when Daniel Morace from J&M roofing knocked at the door, mind you ignoring the no solicitation signs at our neighborhood entrance. While I will not hold it against him trying to drum up business in tough times, there are limits. When a woman asks you to please return when her husband is home you do that. However after my wife closed the door Daniel found his way onto my roof, when confronted by me on the phone he said my wife approved the free estimate. Jayme has been married to me for 20 years and knows the type of poop fit I would throw if she did ANYTHING of the sort while I wasn't home so I assure you she did not. In my eyes no LEGITIMATE businessman would force his way onto a roof after being asked by a woman home alone to return to speak to her husband. Im angry at my wife for even opening the door but her disabilities have hampered her judgement in her later years, but she gave the man a phone number to call and asked him to return when I was home. No way in the world that man should have made his way onto my roof. He can thank his lucky stars his arse wasn't on my roof when I pulled into the driveway or he wouldn't be a problem for anyone else's wife in the future!!

Ultimately had an excellent experience with J&M roofing. They did a first class job and stood by their word with respect to the terms and timelines. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with roof replacement needs.

would not use J and M Roofing if I had another choice. I had lots of problems with them that were never resolved.
1. They quoted me a price with enhanced attic ventilation by putting in ridge vents. They did not put in ridge vents. They only replaced the vents that were already there. When I said something to them, they said there was not enough ridge-line to do so. With out my permission they replaced the vents with what they called upgraded vents. When asked how they were upgraded, they would not tell me.
2. When going over the insurance process, J and M said they would take care of the insurance paperwork and photos required. They would work with the insurance if there was a difference in the prices. They did not do so. I had to take the pictures and send in the statement of completion to the insurance company. The insurance company said they tried many time to get J and M to reply to their inquires and they did not do so except once, and that was incomplete. J and M told the insurance company that I had authorized all sorts of upgrades. The only upgrade that I had OK'd was the ridge-line vents that they did not put in. I tried to get in touch with J and M and the representative that was who talked to me. They would not return calls in a timely manner.
3. The workers when tearing off the roof, just threw the old shingles and tar paper off the roof. With the wind, many of them hit the sides of the house and the garage door leaving many tar marks all over the place. The one wall had been painted a few months before. There were so many marks on it that it had to be repainted. The metal garage door, I spent many hours scrubbing the tar off with a nylon brush and tar remover liquid. Had to use 3 jars of the remover to get almost all of it off. In throwing the singles off, they broke one of my outside lights.
4. They left the refuge container sitting in my drive way for many days after they were done. In it, the workers had thrown their food garbage like left over bits of sandwiches, half eaten water melon and other fruit along with drink containers in with the roofing material. This attracted all sorts of bugs and the smell got so bad, we could not sit out front on our glider. I ended up spraying several cans of bug killer and Lysol air freshener on it to try to hold the bugs and smell down.
5. The left over new material was left on my property for about six weeks, even though we were told that they would have it gone in several days after completion of the job.

All this resulted in my having to come out of pocket with a lot more money then expected, repainting one side of my house, replacing a light, buying tar remover and bug killer and air freshener
